Richard F Selden, MD, PhD is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Scientific Officer of NetBio. He founded the company in 2004 (originally called Network Biosystems) and has since spearheaded significant progress in moving DNA analysis from sophisticated laboratories to the field. NetBio provides one-of-a-kind, fully-automated rapid human DNA identification systems, which are able to more quickly generate results equivalent to or better than those from a forensic laboratory. Dr. Selden is driven by the possibilities of Rapid DNA identification in field-forward biometric and forensic applications.
