"Courageous, creative work begins below the ground" - Or does it? In this talk I challenged this by looking at how our life and creative journeys and experiences actually help our roots to grow. Whilst the roots are there, they certainly don't form the basis of all creative, courageous work. I used 4 examples to illustrate this. 1.) The Piano - where I told my own personal story of creativity. 2.) The People - where I explored the life journeys of J.K. Rowling and Walt Disney. 3.) The Prince - where I discussed Prince Harry, Megxit and the move away from The Royal Family. 4.) The Plant - to bring it back to the earth. The plant illustrated how what happens above and below, helps each other to grow. I handed out plants to all audience members as a reminder to never stop adding to their roots and to keep pursuing their creativity and growth throughout their lives.
