2. At the end of the presentation the audience
should be able to :
Understand the meaning of tourism,

3. Mathieson and Wall (1982) created a good working definition of tourism as "the
temporary movement of people to destinations outside their normal places of
work and residence, the activities undertaken during their stay in those
destinations, and the facilities created to cater to their needs.
Tourism is a collection of activities, services and industries that delivers a travel
experience, including transportation, accommodations, eating and drinking
establishments, retail shops, entertainment businesses, activity facilities and
other hospitality services provided for individuals or groups traveling away from
home.
There are four places that we choose to promote to the tourist such as Lahad
Datu, Kota kinabalu, Sandakan, and Kudat.

tours and excursions to nearby logging sites and timber mills.
Tower Of Heaven
Tower of Heaven (Menara Kayangan) is 33-Meter tall (about 108 feet) and
located at 620 Meters above sea level on Mount Silam. The tower is a very solid
building supported by steel and cement structure, and able to hold up to 30

food for people who come to Sandakan, and everyone who had tried it
always give a thumb-up and come back again. It is a sin if I don’t share
this with you.
