Gun Hunting Vs. Hunting
Hunting has been ingrained in American history from the Native American tribes and from when the
first settlers arrived to the New World. While hunting is not needed for survival in today s society
every year thousands of hunters take to the woods in pursuit of their quarry. While many people think
these hunters are all the same there are two main sects that make up the hunting community; gun
hunters and bowhunters. While both methods of hunting are similar and share many common points,
there are some key differences between the two as well. While bowhunting is more challenging and
the less popular of the two methods, and being less popular is often seen as a bad thing, bowhunting s
lack of popularity and increased challenge is what makes it the true pure form of hunting. The first
difference between gun hunting and bowhunting are the hunting seasons themselves. The gun hunting
season in Michigan goes from November 15 to November 30. This only allows gun hunters a short
two week time period to go hunting. Because of how popular gun hunting is and how short the season
is hunters flock to the woods during this two week period. Many people enjoy hunting for the piece
and quiet they get to enjoy away from the noises and hustle and bustle of everyday life. Gun hunters
do not get to enjoy this peace and quiet however. With orange clad hunters roaming through the woods
and the boom of gun shots ringing out across the landscape the woods are anything but peaceful.

Tarantulas are Among the First Species on Earth
Insects are among the first animals on earth. Their kingdom includes the most of all species. They
appear in different forms; from 1mm spiders to the giant, bird eating, 30 cm big goliath spider. To
reach this state, spiders have been manipulated by evolution for millions of years. More precisely, the
tarantula is a hairy eight legged animal with qualities we don t yet entirely know. The physical
possibilities of tarantulas are much greater than we supposed. Even though their lifestyle disgusts us,
we can learn more things about them.
The physical appearance of a tarantula may vary depending on the species. Firstly, red knee tarantulas
have adapted themselves to the environment they live in by building underground burrows, which
protect them from warm and cold weather (Giesler). Their size may vary from 13 to 14 centimeters
(Giesler), making them relatively big. They have beige hair that covers their whole abdomen and red
leg joints, which gives them good camouflage (Giesler); moreover their carapace is beige (Giesler).
The red knee tarantulas have 8 legs, 2 from which are used to catch preys and 6 to walk (Giesler).
Males are smaller than females (Giesler). They use venom glands to kill preys by injecting poison in
the body of the meal (Giesler). Secondly, the Aphonopelma Chalcodes is a spider that is very hairy
(Shefferly). Males can reach the size of 5 6 cm, females the size of 5 7 cm, and they have a leg spawn
of 10 cm (Shefferly). They have sexual dimorphism meaning

Bees Persuasive Speech
Imagine living in a world without bees. What would you eat? What would you wear? What would the
environment be like? You may think that there would be very little change but think again. The
production in crops would decline due to the fact that 70% of the 90% crop species that we consume
are pollinated by bees, not to mention that delicious honey they provide. Because of this, hunger and
poverty would be at an all time high. Our choice in clothing would decrease as well, being that cotton
relies on pollination. Bees even influence our fuel; canola production would plummet causing a
reliance on fossil fuels and resulting in a huge pressure on our environment. Our world would become
a huge, barren desert because of plants not being able to grow. Humans would most likely die off due
to starvation and thirst, and it s all because of bees. In this speech we are going to learn about what all
the buzz is about the benefits of bees to us, then we will learn about the causes of bee extinction... you
wouldn t bee lieve it! Lastly, we will buzz on over to learn about how we can help the bees in our
community.
Now, let s stop to pollinate our first point, our dependence on bees... The way we eat largely depends
on bees and other pollinators. Every 1 in 3 bites of food we eat is another reason to thank a bee.
Coffee, nuts, seeds, berries, fruits, and vegetables are all pollinated and made possible by bees and
without them we would not have most of these foods. The loss of one bee species can affect what we
eat, some bees are used to pollinate certain plants, such as squash bees. Bees can also affect what
nutrients we are getting, bees allow us to have a balanced diet and without bees we would have a diet
that lacks in vital nutrients. As I said before, bees pollinate the 70% out of the 90% of our crops that
we consume, most of the crops that allow us to have a balanced and healthy diet. In a video titled, The
Death of Bees Explained , the author states that the crops that we feed our livestock with are largely
dependent on honey bees, which effects our milk and meat. In result of the large influence, bees are a

Kim Jung Gi is a South Korean artist whose work have gained millions of people s attention over the
course of a few years. He is most famous for his ability to visualize the drawing and he also able to
draw without any photographic references (Gi, 2017).
I observe things all the time. I don t take references while I m drawing, but I m always collecting
visual resources. I observe them carefully on daily basis, almost habitually. I study images of all sorts
and genres
With this incredible gift, Jung Gi is invited all over the world to preform drawing shows rather than
the more conventional papering art beforehand and showing it in a gallery, using ink and pen he can
create complex and detailed scenes without using a reference and draws them in front of a crowd.
When looking for your ideal juxtaposition what contracting effects do you consider and why do your

Juxtaposition means opposites right. In my works the thing that juxtapose are the themes, using a fish

Analysis Of Donald Trump s Campaign
In an effort to control mentioning of Donald Trump, close examination of popular media outlets with
large audiences will enable the campaign to see changes to rhetoric or schedule of statement releases
(there are, on average, over 200,000 mentions every month). (Politico Staff, 2016) Campaign staff as
well as Trump himself will be speaking with media in a manner that promotes a tight hold on
delegates over the course of the election. Rallies will require significant control efforts because of
protesters. Press conferences will enable the campaign to release accurate information at appropriate
times. This helps keep information circulating in the public to be favorable. Social media is now a
substantial part of elections. Releasing information and ads on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and
YouTube will generate needed feedback from audiences. Resources will be allocated to these sources
of information because it is the most effective way of controlling what information flows around in
the public, thus allowing the campaign to have a good amount of control on publicity and media
coverage.
The testing aspect occurs at many different ventures around the web from News polls to focus group
studies. Frank Luntz, a market research provider focuses his resources during the Presidential race to
evaluate the public opinion of the candidates based on many issues. Recently polling the effects on

The Aspects Of Family And Juvenile Law

THE ASPECTS OF FAMILY AND JUVENILE LAW
The ache for home lives in all of us. The safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned
Maya Angelou. It is proven that we all feel the safest and most comfortable when we are in our own
homes and in the presence of our family members and loved ones. We feel as if they are the ones that
protect us from the world and everything that we are scared of. It is a common belief that everyone
has a safe home and protective loved ones to go home to every night. Even if they don t live with
parents/ a parent, or the person lives in a foster home, they still have a comfortable place to call home.

I have decided to become a lawyer in the family area because I have an unconditional love for my
family and I believe that family is more important than anything. At the end of the day, when everyone
else lets us down, the only thing we have is family, so we should be able to feel comfortable and safe
around them. Also, I have seen horrible things happen to my loved ones and I want to make sure that I
can prevent it from happening to anyone else. My goal as a family lawyer is to protect as many people
as I can and make sure that they are comfortable and safe.
Family law is defined as the body of rules, practices, and beliefs that govern the home. Its policies
govern all aspects of family life from courtship and child rearing to spousal violence and inheritance.
Family law was first enacted as soon as colonists organized political communities. It didn t get as
popular as it is today until after the beginning of World War II. At this time, women had just began to
enter the workforce. However, an official category of family law emerged a few years after the
Revolution. Women found an avenue that allowed them to consider themselves independent
individuals. Since, the men were considered the bread winners and did all of the work, while the
women sat back and had no say so , they were proud to be independent.
Also, in the 1950s and

Analysis Of Gerard Genette s Glossary Of Poetic Terms
In recent years, the term narratology has often been associated principally with European structuralism
[1], bolstered by the work of Gerard Genette, perhaps one of the most famous narrative theorists.
Rather than other theorists, such as Todorov, who s work on the influence of the protagonist on a
narrative equilibrium has too provided an insight into different forms and varieties of narratives [2],
Genette is more concerned with breaking down the mechanics and processes behind a story, shifting
away from the characters and their respective character arcs. He argues that the principalities behind
explaining narratology exist in the routine in which the story is presented. In simpler terms, his
interest is not in the story itself, but how it is told. [3} In this essay, I will use this as an analytical tool
for taking apart a selected narrative.
Any good author, playwright, or poet will always tell you that forms of literature will always contain a
message. This may be personal, or historical for instance, but underneath the visual and auditory sugar
coat of graphology and literary techniques, there always exists an underlying message to influence and
engage the reader. This could be ambiguous, or easily recognised, or perhaps in between. One
prominent branch of writing subsists in between free verse and poetry, in what is known as Prose .
More specifically, The Glossary of Poetic Terms (2006) [4] states it is a piece of writing which
features the charged language

The Disco s Song Nine In The Afternoon
Panic! At The Disco s song, Nine In The Afternoon tells a story of the band going back too room
where the band was created, and the song is all about reminiscing about the good times and memories
of the group beginning. The title of the song tells a story on its own, the room the band first started in
had no windows nor any clocks, so when they wanted to know the time they would peak their head
outside the door and guess the time, around 9 in the afternoon, creating the name of the first song of
their album Pretty. Odd. Through the examination of Panic! At The Disco s son, Nine In The

Auxilio In The Amulet By Roberto Bolano
The Amulet never performed its job
The Amulet by Roberto Bolano, does not start out like a traditional novel. Bolano immediately
introduces to the reader what they think they story is going to be about, but in actuality, you never
truly understand it. Bolano also takes the reader for a whirlwind in what feels like a reincarnation of
Alice in Wonderland and Inception. Amulet s main character and narrator is Auxilio Lacouture. To
sum up the story in a couple sentences is almost impossible, but let s give it the old college try.
Auxilio is in 1968 Mexico City at UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico). A massacre
is currently taking place and she is stuck in a bathroom stall fearing for her life. She stays in this
bathroom with no ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
So many themes come up as well. One quote in particular that displays Auxilio s demise, is when
Auxilio is speaking about the valley, she states, I saw a mirror, and peering into it, I could see an
enormous, uninhabited valley, and the vision of that valley brought tears to my eyes... I saw myself
shut up in the women s bathroom... Perhaps Arturito is already dead, I thought, perhaps that lonely
valley is an emblem of death. (74 75) Auxilio s outlook seemed like a very dark one, calling a valley
an emblem of death is pretty atramentous. It s also foreshadowing of what comes later in the novel.
When one envisions this image of the valley, it seems Auxilio is in the bathroom again. She is looking
at the mirror, and in this mirror there is a different plain of existence which coincides with her own.
This type of imagery is either of a delusional women slowly losing her mind, and is dying, or has
already died, and is seeing this in the

Cognitive Load Theory Intersects With Human Cognitive...
Cognitive load theory intersects with human cognitive architecture by addressing working memory as
limited to three to seven elements of information when the learning of new information is a
requirement (Blissett, Cavalcanti, Sibbald, 2012). Yet, where there is familiarity of information, both
capacity and duration limits of working memory are eliminated (Paas Ayres, 2014). Cognitive load
theory introduces the prominence of cognitive schemas as a strategic approach toward the organizing
and storage of knowledge using the concept of chunking multiple elements of information within a
single element with a specific purpose (Paas Ayres, 2014). Cognitive schemas explains a learner s
transition from novice to skilled due to the creation ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Extraneous cognitive load occurs as a result of the inappropriate selection of instructional design
(Yuling et al., 2015; Leppink et al., 2013; Kalyuga, 2011, Sweller, 2015). Germane cognitive load
refers to the design of effective learning processes allowing individuals to use their cognitive
resources to cope with intrinsic cognitive load introduced by learning tasks (Yuling et al., 2015;
Leppink et al., 2013; Kalyuga, 2011, Sweller, 2015). When thinking about cognitive load, it may be
useful to think about the total amount of mental effort used in working memory. The cognitive load
placed on working memory is considered to be a critical factor in determining learning and problem
solving efficiency, and instructional design requires an alignment with the individual learner s
cognitive capacity and expertise (Sweller, 2012; Sweller, Ayres, Kalyuga, 2011). Working memory is
generally considered to have limited capacity (Schmeck, Opfermann, van Gog, Paas, Leutner, 2015;
Sweller, van Merrienboer, Paas, 1998). Cognitive load theory recommends instruction organized in
such a way to ensure limited working memory resources focus on intrinsic as opposed to extrinsic
cognitive load (Choi et al., 2014). Cognitive load theory (Sweller, van Merrienboer, Paas, 1998; 2011)
incorporates a lens through which such an investigation can occur. The theory argues that the
cognitive load placed on working memory is a critical factor in determining learning

The Ethics Of Animal Research Essay
PHILOSOPHY 106 Is the use of Animals in Biomedical Research Morally Justified?
Animals have been treated immorally since the beginning of time, this is shown by hunting, farming,
trapping, testing of products and biomedical research etc. As humans, majority of us claim animals as
our resources as we use them for eating, making clothing, (leather and fur jackets, shoes) working
animals, as a means of transport, animal testing etc. In this essay I will discuss the use of animals in
biomedical research and state why some believe it is morally justified. I will then present an objection
to argue why biomedical research is morally unjustified and why I believe this. I will write this essay
using resources from Tom Regan s, The case for animal rights , David DeGrazia s, The ethics of
animal research: what are the prospects for agreement? , Baruch A. Brody s, Defending animal
research: An international perspective and Peter Singer s, Animal Liberation at 30 . I will then come to
my own conclusion based on the different perspectives from the above philosophers and by using my
own knowledge on the issue.
In this first half of the essay I will discuss the different viewpoints from the philosophers Regan,
DeGrazia and Singer on their perspectives on why biomedical research is morally unjustified. In Tom
Regan s The Case for Animal Rights he argues that animals have a quality that can t be decreased to
their utility and puts forth a defense to eliminate harm brought about

Compare And Contrast Corona And Old Spice
Old Spice and Corona are two popular companies in American s culture today, especially around
holidays and summer time. Their ads parallel one another because of appealing features such as
having fun on the beach or sailing on the sea. The messages they both give throughout their individual
ads are about lifestyle. For example, a healthy message of Corona s is to enjoy yourself, by relaxing
and living in the moment. Therefore, many of Corona clients believe their product as a stress reliever.
Old Spice s message is that this fragrance makes you smell and seem manlier by you using their
products such as their hair gel, shampoo, and deodorant. The most interesting thing about the two
brands is their showmanship involving the intense focus on getting each product out to the consumers.
Old Spice an American advertising campaign developed by ad agency Wieden + Kennedy in 2010
featuring Isaiah Mustafa became popular after the first advertisement, The Man your Man could smell
like, went viral. Which is owned by Procter Gamble Men s grooming products such as deodorants and
antiperspirants, shampoos, body washes and soaps. Initially launched as Early American Old Spice by
William Lightfoot Schultz s soap and toiletries company, Shulton inc., in 1937, it was first targeted to
women, with the men s product only being released before Christmas at the end of that year.
When the #1 imported beer in American wanted to reach and engage with LGBT consumers they
came to MinMark. Their first step was to guide and educate them about the important insight around
this segment and understand how Corona brand fits within their lifestyle. What Corona offers one kind

Reflective Essay On Geneseo
Often times people relate what they re learning to the environment around them. Studying in Oxford
allowed for a unique, more relatable experience to history and the literature discussed in the course.
Oxford, being one of the oldest, most prestigious institutions in the world, generated an atmosphere
that my classmates and I couldn t experience in Geneseo, one we may never have the chance to

our education here in the US. The historical significance England has, not only with the USA, but the
entire world made the trip invaluable. Learning in the same place as influential philosophers like John
Locke, as well as the significance of Oxford in Thomas Hardy s Jude the Obscure, creates a special
connection to the text I would have nowhere else. Not only was academic aspect enlightening but also
social aspects like traveling and meeting locals as well. This program put academics and life in a
different context, something I m grateful I took advantage of.
Class itself was different from any class I ve taken in Geneseo, from the room to the bond I shared

The next type of love is the one you see on television and in every single music video or book ever.
The love between two people thats unbreakable, the one that is consuming, the love that is
breathtaking. The love that is threatened by the presence of another, but still is strong as ever. The love

The developed world deprives children of a basic and inalienable right: unstructured outdoor play.
Children today have substantially less access to nature, less free range, and less time for independent

aspects of how children now a days need more exposure to nature like it was on the older days.

Although there is arguments that playgrounds can be made too safe where they are no fun are made,
for the sake of the argument I will focus on the side that wants them really safe. This side of the
arguments believes that all schoolyards need to have rules such as to, Avoid playgrounds with non
impact absorbing surfaces, such as asphalt, concrete, grass, dirt or gravel. Recommended surface
materials include: sand, pea gravel, wood chips, mulch and shredded rubber. Rubber mats, synthetic
turf and other artificial materials are also safe surfaces and require less maintenance. Surfacing should
be at least 12 inches deep and extend at least 6 feet in all directions around stationary equipment.
Depending on the height of the equipment, surfacing may need to extend farther than 6 feet. For
swings, make sure that the surfacing extends, in the back and front, twice the height of the suspending
bar. So if the top of the swing set is 10 feet high, the surfacing should extend 20 feet. Along with all
the regulations and rules, they would hop to also have it well supervised and inspected. They say that

Over the past three decades, China has been undergoing economic reforms and changes to its political
structure from communism towards a more market oriented system. It s changing political structure
has been described in various terms such as pro growth authoritarianism (Lai, 2010), a variegated
form of state permeated capitalism (Brink, 2013), refurbished state capitalism (McNally, 2013), and a
social capitalist model (Degen, 2011). All these terms suggest that China has been shifting towards a
more market oriented system but continue to take a state centric approach. Deng Xiaoping described
this system as a Socialist market economy with Chinese characteristics. This hybrid social capitalist or

What is China s current GDP Growth rate?
China s economy has been largely influenced by political activities before the 1990s. Several
economic reforms had already been put in to place since 1978 but the defining change was only
triggered in 1992 with the speech by Mr. Deng Xiaoping, where he affirmed the nation of their shift
towards a market oriented system (Chen, Quan, Liu, 2013).
Empirical data represented in Figure 1a 1b shows the rapid change in China s Gross Domestic Product

relatively high average GDP growth of 10% per year over the last 30 years and its greatest increase

The Human Growth Hormone
Human Growth hormone (GH), also known as somatotropin, is a peptide produced by the anterior
pituitary gland from somatotroph cells. GH has come to the forefront in the sports world for doping
and anti aging promoters. In adults, the most prominent effects of GH are decreased fat mass and
increased lean body mass. The increase in lean body mass is associated with increased protein
synthesis, muscle mass, and muscle function (1). GH plays an important role in the linear
development of bone growth in children and adolescents. After the body stops growing, GH levels
decrease dramatically and remain low throughout the remainder of adult life (2).
GH is a single chain peptide with 191 amino acids that is stabilized by two disulfide bridges. The
molecular weight is 22,000 Daltons (3). GH 1 and GH 2 are genes for GH that are located on
chromosome 17 in the q22 24 region (4). GH secretion is regulated by growth hormone releasing
hormone (GHRH). GHRH is a peptide released from the hypothalamus that stimulates the release of
GH. The hypothalamus also secretes somatostatin, which inhibits the release of GH through back
regulation. GHRH and somatostatin are released from the hypothalamus through the hypophyseal
portal and are transported to the anterior pituitary. GH is released in a pulsatile fashion that is
determined by the concentration of GHRH and somatostatin (5). Levels of GH are slightly higher in
women than in men and the highest amounts of GH secretion is during puberty in

The Mayor Of Casterbridge, Symbolism, Animal Kingdom,...
Keywords: Thomas Hardy, The Mayor of Casterbridge, Symbolism, Bird Imagerey, Animal Kingdom,
Philosophy
Introduction
The Mayor of Casterbridge is one of the masterpieces and the imperishable novel of Thomas Hardy,
although it has never enjoyed the popularity of Tess and Jude. Hardy was at the height of his creative
powers when he began work on it at the age of forty four. Initially, the novel appeared serially, in
twenty installments, in 1886 in an English periodical, The Graphic, and was published in book form in
1886 after revising for two or three times. The book appeared as soon as the serial publication was
complete but it differs a lot from the serial novel. It is a magnificent novel, although Hardy himself
was not entirely happy about it.
It was a story which Hardy fancied he had damaged more recklessly as an artistic whole, in the
interest of the newspaper in which it appeared serially, than perhaps any other of his novels, his
aiming to get an incident into each week s part causing him in his own judgment to add events to the
narrative somewhat too freely.1
On the first reading of the book, it seems to be a straightforward story but on deeper analysis one can
see that it is replete with symbols which have their own significance and that can be interpreted
variously if we analyze them as Thomas Hardy himself wrote while The Mayor of Casterbridge was
coming out serially that, My art is to intensify the expression of things...so that the heart and inner

me. This violence isn t physical, but instead verbal and through social media s. The violence happens
at my lunch table and online like Instagram or texting.
I think violence is wrong and hurtful because it can make people cry or think badly of themselves. I
have seen some of my friends cry, and I do my best to help them and tell them that the person being
rude to them is insecure. The situation was, let s call her X, got mad at my friend and started texting
her long and hateful texts. I do think it s wrong, because when they say I was just upset or I was
joking it can affect the victim s life. They could have taken it serious and hurt themselves. The girl
doing this is extremely rude to others when she does not get her way or misunderstands. Anyone who
tries to stand up to her is shot down. I think that she is rude to others, because I don t think she is very
secure of herself. The verbal violence at my lunch table is towards my group of friends, and has
affected their lives by splitting from our group and becoming distant. It s also affected my life because
of the constant drama and fighting. My best friend has shown me all the hateful texts that X has sent,
and it is truly shocking. Later she X apologized, but she still continues to be set off by the smallest
things. To stop X, I could explain to her what she is doing is wrong and that she needs to stop.

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Argali Sheep
Argali sheep, or the Ovis ammon, are calm, social, non aggressive animals that are related to the
common domestic sheep. They inhabit the mountainous areas of Central and Southern Asia and have a
lifespan of 10 13 years. Argali are approximately the same length as the domestic sheep but are much
taller and heavier, as their weight ranges from 65 180 kilograms, their shoulder height from 90 120
centimeters, and their length from 120 200 centimeters. The coats of these sheep are light yellow to a
darker grey brown in color, and they have lighter faces, abdomens, and inner legs. Ewes have grey
hooves while rams have black hooves. Argali (rams) are also the fastest sheep, as they can run for up
to an hour straight at 50 kilometers per hour with their long, thin legs and compact bodies. Known for
their famous horns, a ram s corkscrew horn can be up to 13 percent of the males body mass and are
usually the prized possession of hunters. While a ram s horns can reach over 150 centimeters, female
argali ewes are only 60% to 70% the size of rams, and their horns rarely reach over 50 centimeter in
length. There are ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Their conservation status is near threatened throughout their entire range, which is a result of direct
mortality (mostly from poaching and hunting) and habitat loss due to the overgrazing of domestic
sheep. They suffer from competition with domestic livestock for water and forage, as livestock
numbers increased during the past few years and the disease of domestic sheep also contributes to the
Argali s declining numbers. Argali are extremely intolerant of human disturbance, which include not
only hunting but of mining in the mountains as well, that leads to the destruction of their habitat.
Hunters not only hunt argali for their meat for food, their fur as clothes, and their horns for medicine,
but they also consider their horns as

Let Me Die
Let Me Die I Want Eternity In May Miller s Poem Death is not Master the persona explains that death
is not the master that will increase desperation, but it is a way to become eternally calm. Many poems
on the topic of death explain how it is as powerful of a thing that fears the existence of human beings,
but Miller s persona death is used in such way to achieve eternal serenity. She explains death as
something that can end all the worlds tears, desires and tension and transform the human memory into
a sculpture which is unaware of tensions. Miller s persona believes that by blocking death it will be
unfair as it will be a barrier to the everlasting happiness and calmness that lies inside the grave. It is an
elaboration of Christian beliefs of how death ends all worldly problems as an eternal life starts after
the death. The eternal life of a human or corpse after death is same as that of sculpture which shines at
night and remains in one place free of all tensions and problems. As the life after death is full of
calmness and happiness, so it must not be blocked and everyone must welcome it to gain the
everlasting lasting life. Thus, conveying Miller s idea of how the perspective death is not the master;
instead, it is the slave of eternal life of serenity and calmness that lies ahead. So, no one should try to
become a barrier by blocking the death. Repetition of you six times and I three times symbolizes the
relationship between I and You who love each other

Math 30 IB Standard Level Body Mass Index Portfolio...
This portfolio is an investigation into how the median Body Mass Index of a girl will change as she
ages. Body Mass Index (BMI) is a comparison between a person s height (in meters) and weight (in
kilograms) in order to determine whether one is overweight or underweight based on their height. The
goal of this portfolio is to prove of disprove how BMI as a function of Age (years) for girls living in
the USA in 2000 can be modeled using one or more mathematical equations. This data can be used for
parents wanting to predict the change in BMI for their daughters or to compare their daughter s BMI
with the median BMI in the USA.
The equation used to measure BMI is:

That can be fixed by adjusting the horizontal phase shift value of _c_ to 12.4 to compensate.
There is also a noticeable discrepancy between the function graph and the scatter plot in the domain
{} and {}. A slight stretch about the y axis would fit the curve closer to the data points in those areas,
therefore the _b_ value should be changed from π/15 to π/14. The number π/14 was chosen because
reducing the denominator s value by 1 will increase the b value by a slight amount, and an increased b
value will shorten period and compress the graph about the y axis, resulting in the values within
domain to be closer to that of the data points.
Making these changes, the revised formula for the sinusoidal function is as follows:
Using TI InterActive!™ to graph that function, overlaid with the original data, and restricting the
graph of the function to the same domain and range as the domain and range on the scatterplot, the
graph is as follows:
The refined equation fits the data much more closely at the beginning, yet around the Age = 13 mark it
starts to deviate again. Looking at this graph, one can come to the conclusion that it will take more
than one mathematical function to graph the entirety of the data.

POWER AND POLITICS IN THE FALL AND RISE OF JOHN LASSETER
John Lasseter grew up in a family heavily involved in artistic expression. Lasseter was drawn to
cartoons as a youngster. Then as a freshman in high school he read a book entitled The Art of
Animation. The book, about the making of the Disney animated film Sleeping Beauty, proved to be a
revelation for Lasseter. He discovered that people could earn a living by developing cartoons. Lasseter
started writing letters to The Walt Disney Company Studios regarding his interest in creating cartoons.
Studio representatives, who corresponded with Lasseter many times, told him to get a great art
education, after which they would teach him animation.

Lasseter is regarded by Hollywood executives as the modern Walt [Disney] himself [with capabilities]
that have made Pixar a sure thing in the high stakes animated world. Former Disney Studios head,
Peter Schneider, says Lasseter is a kid who has never grown up and continues to show the wonder and
joy that you need in this business. Current Disney Studio chief, Dick Cook, says that Lasseter is like
the famous professional basketball player, Michael Jordan. He makes all the players around him
better.
Lasseter now oversees development of movies at both Pixar s and Disney s animation studios. Says
Lasseter, I can t tell you how thrilled I am to have all these new roles. I do what I do in life because of

feeling that his creations gave me is something that I want to turn around and give to others.

Martin Luther King Jr Contribution
A Baptist member, and social activist, by the name of Martin Luther King Jr., played a very important
role in the Civil Rights Movement. He began playing his role in the mid 1950 s until he was later
assassinated in 1968. Being inspired by supporters of the nonviolence movement, such as Mahatma
Gandhi, King fought for equality for all African Americans. King not only fought for equality, but he
also fought for the right to vote and for the victims of unfairness all through peaceful protesting. He
had a splendid speaking ability, which allowed him to reveal the demands of African Americans for
social justice. King s fluent appeal won the support of billons of people, black and white, which made
him famous. In 1964 he won the Nobel Peace Prize for leading nonviolent civil rights affirmation.
Regardless of King s stress on nonviolence, he started to become the target of violence. Back in
Montgomery, Alabama, white racists bombed his home, and threw rocks at him in Chicago. Finally, at
the age of 39, violence took his life as an assassin shot and killed him. ... Show more content on

Galileo was the Greatest Innovator and Scientific Mind of...
I decided to stand alone on the throne of the world, because I believe all good philosophers fly alone
like eagles. (Axelrod 9 ) . Galileo is one of the greatest scientific minds and innovators of his time.
Many questioned his methods of discovery, reasons for why something was happening in experiments
he conducted. Galileo s reasoning is the focal point to his research and helps with the idea of
understanding how he thought. Galileo s inventions were the most innovative and advanced in his
field at the time. Most importantly Galileo was just trying to find truth , Galileo was honest when he
said that if the bible seemed to say something different from what science said, then one had just
misinterpreted the bible ,(Axelrod 8 ). Provided the research and experiments Galileo had done his
theories and ideas are correct for his time. As a scientist, Galileo experimented with many theories on
how the universe was structured and found the copernican theory to be the most sensible but had
trouble proving his system to be true. Galileo s commitment to explanation as the basis for
justification for his research is stronger than most of his other methods for explaining the environment
around him.

Essay on Medical Marijuana Should Be Legal
The right to use marijuana for optional medical treatment has been a long drawn out battle between
the U.S. Federal Government and the people petitioning for its therapeutic uses. The history on the use
of marijuana (also known as cannabis) has been a big deterrent on legalizing this type of drug today.
The controversy stems from the medical and legal implications that the U.S. Federal Government has
towards the use of marijuana. Others controversies are associated to petitions filed to re classifying
marijuana (a controlled substance) for optional medical treatment. Furthermore, there are conflicts that

The U.S. Federal Government has complete control on regulating all (legal or illegal) drugs based on
the effectiveness in therapeutic values and the benefits obtained in medical treatment. The government
has established safety precautions for the protection of the public s health under departmental
supervision. The development of each new drug and the potential value of a drug in medical treatment
are regulated by the Department of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) (Jill 278). Through
scientific research and clinical trials it is the decision of the FDA whether to approve these new drugs
for the purpose of effective treatment (Joy 138). Under the U.S. Controlled Substance Act , the FDA
classifies each type of drug under certain categories. The drugs are categorized based on the potential
abuse (addiction) and the effectiveness that the drugs have in beneficial values of treatment. The types
of classifications are: Schedule I drug high potential for abuse and no recognized medical use ;
Schedule II drug potential for abuse but are prescribable because of their therapeutic effects ; and
Schedule III drug potential for abuse lower than that of schedule I or II drugs . The classifications of
all drugs are strictly regulated by the U.S. Federal Government and are enforced by the U.S. Drug
Enforcement Administration (DEA) (Kane 1159 60). This is a good thing our government has

  • 2. Gun Hunting Vs. Hunting Hunting has been ingrained in American history from the Native American tribes and from when the first settlers arrived to the New World. While hunting is not needed for survival in today s society every year thousands of hunters take to the woods in pursuit of their quarry. While many people think these hunters are all the same there are two main sects that make up the hunting community; gun hunters and bowhunters. While both methods of hunting are similar and share many common points, there are some key differences between the two as well. While bowhunting is more challenging and the less popular of the two methods, and being less popular is often seen as a bad thing, bowhunting s lack of popularity and increased challenge is what makes it the true pure form of hunting. The first difference between gun hunting and bowhunting are the hunting seasons themselves. The gun hunting season in Michigan goes from November 15 to November 30. This only allows gun hunters a short two week time period to go hunting. Because of how popular gun hunting is and how short the season is hunters flock to the woods during this two week period. Many people enjoy hunting for the piece and quiet they get to enjoy away from the noises and hustle and bustle of everyday life. Gun hunters do not get to enjoy this peace and quiet however. With orange clad hunters roaming through the woods and the boom of gun shots ringing out across the landscape the woods are anything but peaceful. Oftentimes gun ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Tarantulas are Among the First Species on Earth Insects are among the first animals on earth. Their kingdom includes the most of all species. They appear in different forms; from 1mm spiders to the giant, bird eating, 30 cm big goliath spider. To reach this state, spiders have been manipulated by evolution for millions of years. More precisely, the tarantula is a hairy eight legged animal with qualities we don t yet entirely know. The physical possibilities of tarantulas are much greater than we supposed. Even though their lifestyle disgusts us, we can learn more things about them. The physical appearance of a tarantula may vary depending on the species. Firstly, red knee tarantulas have adapted themselves to the environment they live in by building underground burrows, which protect them from warm and cold weather (Giesler). Their size may vary from 13 to 14 centimeters (Giesler), making them relatively big. They have beige hair that covers their whole abdomen and red leg joints, which gives them good camouflage (Giesler); moreover their carapace is beige (Giesler). The red knee tarantulas have 8 legs, 2 from which are used to catch preys and 6 to walk (Giesler). Males are smaller than females (Giesler). They use venom glands to kill preys by injecting poison in the body of the meal (Giesler). Secondly, the Aphonopelma Chalcodes is a spider that is very hairy (Shefferly). Males can reach the size of 5 6 cm, females the size of 5 7 cm, and they have a leg spawn of 10 cm (Shefferly). They have sexual dimorphism meaning ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Bees Persuasive Speech Imagine living in a world without bees. What would you eat? What would you wear? What would the environment be like? You may think that there would be very little change but think again. The production in crops would decline due to the fact that 70% of the 90% crop species that we consume are pollinated by bees, not to mention that delicious honey they provide. Because of this, hunger and poverty would be at an all time high. Our choice in clothing would decrease as well, being that cotton relies on pollination. Bees even influence our fuel; canola production would plummet causing a reliance on fossil fuels and resulting in a huge pressure on our environment. Our world would become a huge, barren desert because of plants not being able to grow. Humans would most likely die off due to starvation and thirst, and it s all because of bees. In this speech we are going to learn about what all the buzz is about the benefits of bees to us, then we will learn about the causes of bee extinction... you wouldn t bee lieve it! Lastly, we will buzz on over to learn about how we can help the bees in our community. Now, let s stop to pollinate our first point, our dependence on bees... The way we eat largely depends on bees and other pollinators. Every 1 in 3 bites of food we eat is another reason to thank a bee. Coffee, nuts, seeds, berries, fruits, and vegetables are all pollinated and made possible by bees and without them we would not have most of these foods. The loss of one bee species can affect what we eat, some bees are used to pollinate certain plants, such as squash bees. Bees can also affect what nutrients we are getting, bees allow us to have a balanced diet and without bees we would have a diet that lacks in vital nutrients. As I said before, bees pollinate the 70% out of the 90% of our crops that we consume, most of the crops that allow us to have a balanced and healthy diet. In a video titled, The Death of Bees Explained , the author states that the crops that we feed our livestock with are largely dependent on honey bees, which effects our milk and meat. In result of the large influence, bees are a Keystone Species, a keystone species is a species that is largely depended on in an ecosystem and if they were ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Descriptive Essay Kim Kung Gi Kim Jung Gi is a South Korean artist whose work have gained millions of people s attention over the course of a few years. He is most famous for his ability to visualize the drawing and he also able to draw without any photographic references (Gi, 2017). I observe things all the time. I don t take references while I m drawing, but I m always collecting visual resources. I observe them carefully on daily basis, almost habitually. I study images of all sorts and genres With this incredible gift, Jung Gi is invited all over the world to preform drawing shows rather than the more conventional papering art beforehand and showing it in a gallery, using ink and pen he can create complex and detailed scenes without using a reference and draws them in front of a crowd. When looking for your ideal juxtaposition what contracting effects do you consider and why do your grantee towards the one you use today? Juxtaposition means opposites right. In my works the thing that juxtapose are the themes, using a fish eye lenses I create a combination of fantasy and reality with a hint of Sci fi, all thought I love fantasy I also have a huge fascination with people s lives, places I have been and have experiences and I thing that it far more dramatic and insightful then a fantastical world (Kim Jung Gi, n.d.). I mainly use ink and brush pens so there isn t much colour in my works, however I feel that the detail really brings my work to life. I love to draw epic battles and giant half human ... • 6. Analysis Of Donald Trump s Campaign In an effort to control mentioning of Donald Trump, close examination of popular media outlets with large audiences will enable the campaign to see changes to rhetoric or schedule of statement releases (there are, on average, over 200,000 mentions every month). (Politico Staff, 2016) Campaign staff as well as Trump himself will be speaking with media in a manner that promotes a tight hold on delegates over the course of the election. Rallies will require significant control efforts because of protesters. Press conferences will enable the campaign to release accurate information at appropriate times. This helps keep information circulating in the public to be favorable. Social media is now a substantial part of elections. Releasing information and ads on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube will generate needed feedback from audiences. Resources will be allocated to these sources of information because it is the most effective way of controlling what information flows around in the public, thus allowing the campaign to have a good amount of control on publicity and media coverage. The testing aspect occurs at many different ventures around the web from News polls to focus group studies. The safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned Maya Angelou. It is proven that we all feel the safest and most comfortable when we are in our own homes and in the presence of our family members and loved ones. We feel as if they are the ones that protect us from the world and everything that we are scared of. It is a common belief that everyone has a safe home and protective loved ones to go home to every night. Even if they don t live with parents/ a parent, or the person lives in a foster home, they still have a comfortable place to call home. Believe ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I have decided to become a lawyer in the family area because I have an unconditional love for my family and I believe that family is more important than anything. At the end of the day, when everyone else lets us down, the only thing we have is family, so we should be able to feel comfortable and safe around them. Also, I have seen horrible things happen to my loved ones and I want to make sure that I can prevent it from happening to anyone else. My goal as a family lawyer is to protect as many people as I can and make sure that they are comfortable and safe. Family law is defined as the body of rules, practices, and beliefs that govern the home. Its policies govern all aspects of family life from courtship and child rearing to spousal violence and inheritance. Family law was first enacted as soon as colonists organized political communities. It didn t get as popular as it is today until after the beginning of World War II. At this time, women had just began to enter the workforce. However, an official category of family law emerged a few years after the Revolution. Women found an avenue that allowed them to consider themselves independent individuals. Since, the men were considered the bread winners and did all of the work, while the women sat back and had no say so , they were proud to be independent. Also, in the 1950s and ... • 8. Analysis Of Gerard Genette s Glossary Of Poetic Terms In recent years, the term narratology has often been associated principally with European structuralism [1], bolstered by the work of Gerard Genette, perhaps one of the most famous narrative theorists. Rather than other theorists, such as Todorov, who s work on the influence of the protagonist on a narrative equilibrium has too provided an insight into different forms and varieties of narratives [2], Genette is more concerned with breaking down the mechanics and processes behind a story, shifting away from the characters and their respective character arcs. He argues that the principalities behind explaining narratology exist in the routine in which the story is presented. In simpler terms, his interest is not in the story itself, but how it is told. [3} In this essay, I will use this as an analytical tool for taking apart a selected narrative. Any good author, playwright, or poet will always tell you that forms of literature will always contain a message. This may be personal, or historical for instance, but underneath the visual and auditory sugar coat of graphology and literary techniques, there always exists an underlying message to influence and engage the reader. This could be ambiguous, or easily recognised, or perhaps in between. One prominent branch of writing subsists in between free verse and poetry, in what is known as Prose . More specifically, The Glossary of Poetic Terms (2006) [4] states it is a piece of writing which features the charged language ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

At The Disco s song, Nine In The Afternoon tells a story of the band going back too room where the band was created, and the song is all about reminiscing about the good times and memories of the group beginning. The title of the song tells a story on its own, the room the band first started in had no windows nor any clocks, so when they wanted to know the time they would peak their head outside the door and guess the time, around 9 in the afternoon, creating the name of the first song of their album Pretty. Odd. Through the examination of Panic! At The Disco s son, Nine In The Afternoon Characteristics of a martyr archetype becomes evident along with a deeper background of the bands antiquity. • 10. Auxilio In The Amulet By Roberto Bolano The Amulet never performed its job The Amulet by Roberto Bolano, does not start out like a traditional novel. Bolano immediately introduces to the reader what they think they story is going to be about, but in actuality, you never truly understand it. Bolano also takes the reader for a whirlwind in what feels like a reincarnation of Alice in Wonderland and Inception. Amulet s main character and narrator is Auxilio Lacouture. To sum up the story in a couple sentences is almost impossible, but let s give it the old college try. Auxilio is in 1968 Mexico City at UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico). A massacre is currently taking place and she is stuck in a bathroom stall fearing for her life. She stays in this bathroom with no ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... So many themes come up as well. One quote in particular that displays Auxilio s demise, is when Auxilio is speaking about the valley, she states, I saw a mirror, and peering into it, I could see an enormous, uninhabited valley, and the vision of that valley brought tears to my eyes... I saw myself shut up in the women s bathroom... Perhaps Arturito is already dead, I thought, perhaps that lonely valley is an emblem of death. (74 75) Auxilio s outlook seemed like a very dark one, calling a valley an emblem of death is pretty atramentous. It s also foreshadowing of what comes later in the novel. When one envisions this image of the valley, it seems Auxilio is in the bathroom again. She is looking at the mirror, and in this mirror there is a different plain of existence which coincides with her own. This type of imagery is either of a delusional women slowly losing her mind, and is dying, or has already died, and is seeing this in the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 11. Cognitive Load Theory Intersects With Human Cognitive... Cognitive load theory intersects with human cognitive architecture by addressing working memory as limited to three to seven elements of information when the learning of new information is a requirement (Blissett, Cavalcanti, Sibbald, 2012). Yet, where there is familiarity of information, both capacity and duration limits of working memory are eliminated (Paas Ayres, 2014). Cognitive load theory introduces the prominence of cognitive schemas as a strategic approach toward the organizing and storage of knowledge using the concept of chunking multiple elements of information within a single element with a specific purpose (Paas Ayres, 2014). Cognitive schemas explains a learner s transition from novice to skilled due to the creation ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Extraneous cognitive load occurs as a result of the inappropriate selection of instructional design (Yuling et al., 2015; Leppink et al., 2013; Kalyuga, 2011, Sweller, 2015). Germane cognitive load refers to the design of effective learning processes allowing individuals to use their cognitive resources to cope with intrinsic cognitive load introduced by learning tasks (Yuling et al., 2015; Leppink et al., 2013; Kalyuga, 2011, Sweller, 2015). When thinking about cognitive load, it may be useful to think about the total amount of mental effort used in working memory. The cognitive load placed on working memory is considered to be a critical factor in determining learning and problem solving efficiency, and instructional design requires an alignment with the individual learner s cognitive capacity and expertise (Sweller, 2012; Sweller, Ayres, Kalyuga, 2011). Working memory is generally considered to have limited capacity (Schmeck, Opfermann, van Gog, Paas, Leutner, 2015; Sweller, van Merrienboer, Paas, 1998). Cognitive load theory recommends instruction organized in such a way to ensure limited working memory resources focus on intrinsic as opposed to extrinsic cognitive load (Choi et al., 2014). Cognitive load theory (Sweller, van Merrienboer, Paas, 1998; 2011) incorporates a lens through which such an investigation can occur. • 12. The Ethics Of Animal Research Essay PHILOSOPHY 106 Is the use of Animals in Biomedical Research Morally Justified? Animals have been treated immorally since the beginning of time, this is shown by hunting, farming, trapping, testing of products and biomedical research etc. As humans, majority of us claim animals as our resources as we use them for eating, making clothing, (leather and fur jackets, shoes) working animals, as a means of transport, animal testing etc. In this essay I will discuss the use of animals in biomedical research and state why some believe it is morally justified. I will then present an objection to argue why biomedical research is morally unjustified and why I believe this. I will write this essay using resources from Tom Regan s, The case for animal rights , David DeGrazia s, The ethics of animal research: what are the prospects for agreement? , Baruch A. Brody s, Defending animal research: An international perspective and Peter Singer s, Animal Liberation at 30 . I will then come to my own conclusion based on the different perspectives from the above philosophers and by using my own knowledge on the issue. In this first half of the essay I will discuss the different viewpoints from the philosophers Regan, DeGrazia and Singer on their perspectives on why biomedical research is morally unjustified. In Tom Regan s The Case for Animal Rights he argues that animals have a quality that can t be decreased to their utility and puts forth a defense to eliminate harm brought about ... • 13. Compare And Contrast Corona And Old Spice Old Spice and Corona are two popular companies in American s culture today, especially around holidays and summer time. Their ads parallel one another because of appealing features such as having fun on the beach or sailing on the sea. The messages they both give throughout their individual ads are about lifestyle. For example, a healthy message of Corona s is to enjoy yourself, by relaxing and living in the moment. Therefore, many of Corona clients believe their product as a stress reliever. Old Spice s message is that this fragrance makes you smell and seem manlier by you using their products such as their hair gel, shampoo, and deodorant. The most interesting thing about the two brands is their showmanship involving the intense focus on getting each product out to the consumers. Old Spice an American advertising campaign developed by ad agency Wieden + Kennedy in 2010 featuring Isaiah Mustafa became popular after the first advertisement, The Man your Man could smell like, went viral. Studying in Oxford allowed for a unique, more relatable experience to history and the literature discussed in the course. Oxford, being one of the oldest, most prestigious institutions in the world, generated an atmosphere that my classmates and I couldn t experience in Geneseo, one we may never have the chance to experience again. From the history, to the architecture, to the students and culture it is unparalleled to our education here in the US. The historical significance England has, not only with the USA, but the entire world made the trip invaluable. Learning in the same place as influential philosophers like John Locke, as well as the significance of Oxford in Thomas Hardy s Jude the Obscure, creates a special connection to the text I would have nowhere else. Not only was academic aspect enlightening but also social aspects like traveling and meeting locals as well. This program put academics and life in a different context, something I m grateful I took advantage of. Class itself was different from any class I ve taken in Geneseo, from the room to the bond I shared with my classmates and professors throughout the trip. Over the past three decades, China has been undergoing economic reforms and changes to its political structure from communism towards a more market oriented system. It s changing political structure has been described in various terms such as pro growth authoritarianism (Lai, 2010), a variegated form of state permeated capitalism (Brink, 2013), refurbished state capitalism (McNally, 2013), and a social capitalist model (Degen, 2011). • 18. The Human Growth Hormone Human Growth hormone (GH), also known as somatotropin, is a peptide produced by the anterior pituitary gland from somatotroph cells. GH has come to the forefront in the sports world for doping and anti aging promoters. In adults, the most prominent effects of GH are decreased fat mass and increased lean body mass. The increase in lean body mass is associated with increased protein synthesis, muscle mass, and muscle function (1). GH plays an important role in the linear development of bone growth in children and adolescents. After the body stops growing, GH levels decrease dramatically and remain low throughout the remainder of adult life (2). GH is a single chain peptide with 191 amino acids that is stabilized by two disulfide bridges. The molecular weight is 22,000 Daltons (3). GH 1 and GH 2 are genes for GH that are located on chromosome 17 in the q22 24 region (4). GH secretion is regulated by growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH). GHRH is a peptide released from the hypothalamus that stimulates the release of GH. The hypothalamus also secretes somatostatin, which inhibits the release of GH through back regulation. GHRH and somatostatin are released from the hypothalamus through the hypophyseal portal and are transported to the anterior pituitary. GH is released in a pulsatile fashion that is determined by the concentration of GHRH and somatostatin (5). Levels of GH are slightly higher in women than in men and the highest amounts of GH secretion is during puberty in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Keywords: Thomas Hardy, The Mayor of Casterbridge, Symbolism, Bird Imagerey, Animal Kingdom, Philosophy Introduction The Mayor of Casterbridge is one of the masterpieces and the imperishable novel of Thomas Hardy, although it has never enjoyed the popularity of Tess and Jude. Hardy was at the height of his creative powers when he began work on it at the age of forty four. Initially, the novel appeared serially, in twenty installments, in 1886 in an English periodical, The Graphic, and was published in book form in 1886 after revising for two or three times. The book appeared as soon as the serial publication was complete but it differs a lot from the serial novel. It is a magnificent novel, although Hardy himself was not entirely happy about it. It was a story which Hardy fancied he had damaged more recklessly as an artistic whole, in the interest of the newspaper in which it appeared serially, than perhaps any other of his novels, his aiming to get an incident into each week s part causing him in his own judgment to add events to the narrative somewhat too freely.1 On the first reading of the book, it seems to be a straightforward story but on deeper analysis one can see that it is replete with symbols which have their own significance and that can be interpreted variously if we analyze them as Thomas Hardy himself wrote while The Mayor of Casterbridge was coming out serially that, My art is to intensify the expression of things...so that the heart and inner ... Let Me Die Let Me Die I Want Eternity In May Miller s Poem Death is not Master the persona explains that death is not the master that will increase desperation, but it is a way to become eternally calm. Many poems on the topic of death explain how it is as powerful of a thing that fears the existence of human beings, but Miller s persona death is used in such way to achieve eternal serenity. She explains death as something that can end all the worlds tears, desires and tension and transform the human memory into a sculpture which is unaware of tensions. Miller s persona believes that by blocking death it will be unfair as it will be a barrier to the everlasting happiness and calmness that lies inside the grave. It is an elaboration of Christian beliefs of how death ends all worldly problems as an eternal life starts after the death. The eternal life of a human or corpse after death is same as that of sculpture which shines at night and remains in one place free of all tensions and problems. As the life after death is full of calmness and happiness, so it must not be blocked and everyone must welcome it to gain the everlasting lasting life. Thus, conveying Miller s idea of how the perspective death is not the master; instead, it is the slave of eternal life of serenity and calmness that lies ahead. A slight stretch about the y axis would fit the curve closer to the data points in those areas, therefore the _b_ value should be changed from π/15 to π/14. The number π/14 was chosen because reducing the denominator s value by 1 will increase the b value by a slight amount, and an increased b value will shorten period and compress the graph about the y axis, resulting in the values within domain to be closer to that of the data points.
