Evaluating The Best Educational Placement For Children...
Every year as their children enter the educational system, many parents of children with special needs
have to choose the best educational fit to maximize their children s long term success. I have been one
of those parents. Raising a child with special needs comes with many challenges along the way, but
the choice of setting in which a child with special needs obtains their education has a long lasting
impact on a child s physical and emotional health. For this reason parents in collaboration with
educators must weigh many factors to determine the best educational placement for children with
special educational needs. Therefore, placement in an educational setting must take into consideration
the setting that provides for the best interests of each particular child. Various educational options
should continue to be available to students with special needs to ensure they are receiving the
education that is most appropriate for their areas strengths and weaknesses.
The current special education system determines the placement for these students in accordance with
the recommendation of the child s educational team. This group is made up of parents, educators and
administrators from the child s school district, as well as administrators from an alternative schooling
option if applicable (Ohio Department of Education). The team is unique to each student and has the
goal ensuring a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) for the student in the Least Restrictive

A Report On The Flow Chart Diagram ( Table D )
In meeting with the process owner and sponsor, we immediately advised per our analysis, added in
white in the Flow Chart Diagram (Table D), further process to correct material issues and keep the
project moving.
Evaluation
Note We find in the map a significant drain on finance to labor and resources, due to incorrect
material, prolonged project time, causing further overhead and loss in profit. We redirected our
investigation to further questions to the key players in the ordering and estimating of materials. This
accounts for a majority of the devastating overhead and lost time of the stakeholders. Further note a
bottleneck with the supplier and unskilled workforce are also evident. We will utilize the measurement
phase to help ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Pareto Chart Diagram (Table B) shows a strong correlation between incorrect materials and labor
costs. The control chart below shows the process system in control and needing to change or the
process would continue.
The overage in hours is staggering, at $130,000 per year (being $2,500 per week) or 5,200 hours on an
average. A further overage of materials and direct labor cost totaling $120,000 per year in incorrect
materials, for a total of $250,000 combined in reduction of costs, increasing resources of the company
and client satisfaction. After we brain stormed on Supplies, process activities, output activities, and
customer feedback (SIPOC) and developed further strategy for decision making. According to
Pyzdek,T., Keller, (2010) a (SIPOC) is a flowcharting technique that helps identify those processes
that have the greatest impact on customer satisfaction (p. 94). That drastically affects the project cost
and impact of the (BVA) Business value analysis. Upper and lower control limits identified with an X
bar and R chart to validate the process capability with a process mean of 34.84Hr and standard
deviation of 1.874Hr.
We concluded that the lack of a continuous process improvement(s) program (CPI) has directly related
to outer influences crippled this organization. A Cause and Effect Diagram produced focus efforts that
directly affected on the overage of hours. This focus of incorrect materials has an impact on the
process as a whole and

Environmental Issues Surrounding The Use Of Biofuels
A biofuels is a fuel that is produced through biological processes, such as agriculture rather than a fuel
produced by geological processes. Hence a biofuel is a fuel which is gained from the living matter. A
biofuel is a hydrocarbon that is made from a living organism hence we humans end up using this to
power something. In a short amount of time, if a hydrogen fuel is produced from organic matter hence
this is known as a biofuel being produced. Biodiesel is an fuel which is similar to fossil diesel.
Therefore biofuel is any fuel from which energy is gained through a process of biological carbon
fixation. Biodiesel can be produced from vegetable oil, animal oil/fats and waste cooking oils. A well
known process used to convert these oils ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Biodiesel has many environmentally impacts. One of the main benefits is that it can be described as
carbon neutral. Therefore this helps me understand that the fuel produces has no net output of carbon
in the form of carbon dioxide. The reason for this effect to occur is that when the oil crops grows it
gains the same amount of CO2 as is released when the fuel is combusted. However this is not exact as
CO2 is released during the production of the fertilizer require to fertilize the fields in which the oil
crops grow in. fertilizer production is not the only source of which is attached to the production of
biodiesel, other sources include the process which is called esterification process. No matter what all
these processes requires an energy input either in the form of electricity or from a

First Love By Lost Kings
First Love by Lost Kings (ft. Sabrina Carpenter) The song First Love by Lost Kings, featuring Sabrina
Carpenter, represents Janie saying that Tea Cake sacrificed too much for her. The song s lyrics, You
give everything / And you give too much represent how Tea Cake gave everything to Janie and that
was too much. The novel manifests this when he risked his life to save Janie from the aggressive dog
that was standing on the cow Janie held on to. The dog was growling and attempting to attack Janie.
Tea Cake gave too much in order to save her, he fought the dog, got bite on the cheeks, caught rabies,
and that ultimately lead to his death. Tea Cake basically sacrificed his own life to save Janie s, which
made Janie very upset. To quote the song lyrics of First Love , this is just like first love because Tea

and that it helped her to become who she was at the end of the novel. In addition to that, the next line
of the song lyrics says, We ll never forget how it feels now / Just like first love, represents how Janie
will never forget how it felt like to be in love with Tea Cake. The novel says Tea Cake could never be
dead until she[Janie] herself had finished feeling and thinking. She even thought of him when she
went back to her bedroom in Eatonville. This relationship was just like first love for Janie because she

The City Of East, Virginia, Maryland And Delaware
Sheltered amongst the trees along the Monongahela River, just 15 miles south of Pittsburgh, early
travelers located some of the most fertile soil and picturesque landscape that they had ever laid their
eyes on. A simply amazing discovery, the area was not only perfect for boat and ship building, but it
offered a hub for various forms for incorporating businesses into the area, and it offered conditions
perfect for liveability during the heat of summer and the brutal winters that western Pennsylvania is
known for. Sometime during the mid to late 1700s, settlers from New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware
began moving into the area now known as Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, taking advantage of the lush
foliage and generous farmland that sat nestled ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
While many will argue that the big boat was built at a boatyard near the Liberty Bridge in Pittsburgh,
the mystery of where the big boat was built, according to the founding fathers of Elizabeth, was built
at the edge of the Monongahela River and later the durable merchant vessel set sail from the shipyard
based in Elizabeth. One later accounts of the origins of the famous keelboat carrying Lewis Clark
came directly from a reliable source during an interview with Col. George A. Bayard, son of Col.
Stephen Bayard in early 1852. Col. Bayard stated that the early involvement of boat building included
the keelboat that was built by John Walker at the boatyard at along the waterfront in Elizabeth
Borough and was later used for the Lewis and Clark expedition. Today, Elizabeth has many more
mysteries that embody the town with intrigue and is a definite place of interest for anyone who loves
history, paranormal activity, beauty, fine dining, dancing in the streets, and that welcoming small town

County and the first ship building industry west of the Allegheny Mountains. The town became
famous for her very own ship, the Monongahela Farmer who sailed from Elizabeth to New Orleans in
1800. Towboats nudging barges filled with coal along the river, work and pleasure boats, water sports,

Taking a Look at Political Ideologies
It s an understatement to say our ideology shapes the way we live our lives every day. It affects the
way we view and react to different people. Ideology is a set of beliefs that affects our outlook on the
entire world. Most of the time ideology refers to a set of political beliefs or a set of ideas that relate to
religious views. In a simpler meaning, ideology means having a views or opinions based on your ideas
of that thing.
The Republican ideology today is based on conservatism. They believe in free market economy and
the government s job is to provide for its citizens with military protection. A conservative is someone
who values the heritage that comes from the past. They believe in classical principles and tend to be
more self righteous. Conservative Republicans believe in tradition, less regulation and free enterprise.
They believe in their rights and are hard working. This is the belief that you get what you work for but
the government still helps the ones in need.
Democrats think it is the responsibility of the government to care for all individuals. Democrats are
weak compared to the rest of the political ideologies. They believe the government knows what is best
for the citizens. A Democratic liberal is where democracy uses the principles of liberalism. This
includes social and economic equality. Liberals want the government to help with the lower class and
regulate the rich to ensure they do not have too much power. Liberals do not want a completely free

Benefits Of A Qualified And Nonqualified Retirement Plan...
This discourse will attempt to discuss the concepts of what an executive is, what the difference
between a qualified and nonqualified retirement plan is, the three objectives of a nonqualified plan:
ERISA, funding status, and mandatory retirement age, as well as, nonqualified retirement plans of
supplemental executive retirement plans (SERPs) and excess benefit plans
Who Are Executives? From a tax regulation perspective, the Internal Revenue Services (IRS)
recognizes two groups of employees who play a major role in a company s policy decisions: highly
compensated employees and key employees (Martocchio, 2014, pg. 294). Highly compensated
employees refer to the nondiscrimination rules in the employer sponsored health insurance benefits.
According to Investopedia (2010), a highly compensated employee is an employee who is a five
percent owner of the company or an employee who has received more than 110,000 in compensations.
However, a highly compensated employee can also be defined as an employee whose pay is at the top
twenty percent of the company. When a company contributes to a defined benefit or defined
contribution plan for its employees and those contributions are based on the employee s compensation,
the IRS wants the company to minimize the discrepancy between the retirement benefits received by
highly compensated and lower compensated employees (Investopedia, 2010, pg. 1). This is how the
breakdown of compensation of allotted to highly compensated employees. On

Impact Of The Atomic Bombs On Nagasaki And Hiroshima
The impact of the atomic bombs on Nagasaki and Hiroshima were the most destructive singular air
strikes against Japan. However, fire raids conducted by Major General Curtis E. Lemay were a
significant factor in the air campaign against Japan. They also inflicted more casualties to the Japanese
populous and damage to Japanese infrastructure than the atomic bombs (Hanson 60). The decision and
execution of these attacks by General Lemay contributed to the overall success of the pacific
campaign. The changes that General Lemay made to the XXI Bomber Command created more
victories for the Americans with a lower casualty rate. These victories can also be attributed to the
success of air power at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels of war. Prior to General Lemay s
control of the XXI Bomber Command, Brigadier General Haywood S. Hansell Jr. was conducting
high altitude bombing campaigns on Japanese infrastructure. The bombing command had a solid
foundation with its safe base infrastructure, tactics, and organization of command. B 29s stationed at
bases in Guam, Tinian, Saipan and Iwo Jima were being more well constructed leading to less
problems during air raids. With better aircraft, missions could have fewer issues occurring leading to
higher success rates. The major setback that aircrafts were having was the weather. Because the
bombers were at such high altitudes during their attacks it led to overheating of engines and other
mission essential issues. Thunderstorms

Why Do Monarch Butterflies Move
Mexico was once the locations where large colonies of monarch butterflies migrated to. However in
the recent years the size of the colonies have began to shrink. The monarch butterflies tend to
hibernate in the winter in reserve forests. It is believed one reason for the decline of monarch
butterflies migrating to the reserve forests in Mexico is because of the number of insects in these
forests had increased along with the destruction of these forrest. Another reason for monarch
butterflies migrating to these different areas is to follow their food source which is the milkweed. The
milkweed was at one time found in large numbers through out Canda. However due to climate

Experimental Cinem The Experimental Film Movement
From the beginning of film filmmakers were using the platform to tell people stories, so that people
could go be entertained and lose themselves in the experience of seeing the film. Though this form of
filmmaking was entertaining for most people, some filmmakers wanted to break this tradition and
expand filmmaking into a completely different way. Instead of making the same old narrative films,
like classical Hollywood, they want to make more abstract and complex films, they wanted to make
films as more of an art form. Instead of relying on actors and writes to tell a narrative story, these
filmmakers wanted to change things up and make films that went against the norms of the Hollywood
cinema. They wanted to experiment with different methods of filming, more imaginative and
inventive forms. They also wanted their films to have meanings and express what they, the artist, were
feeling and how they viewed the world. From this a new film movement was born, the experimental
film movement. Experimental cinema first emerged in the early 1900s out of a wider social
movements to speak of silenced or dissident voices (Rees, 2011). During these time filmmakers were
getting tired of the tradition methods of making films and wanted to go against the norms.
Experimental filmmakers would make their films outside the film industry (Thompson and Bordwell,
2009) by producing the funds for the film themselves so that they didn t have to abide by the rules of
the big studios. Instead of

The Basic Principles Of Biological Criminology
The basic principle of biological criminology comes from the belief people are born criminal through
genetic inheritance or physiological predisposition to crime as written by Mclaughlin and Muncie
(2013, p. 26). Early theorists such as Cesare Lombroso identified criminals by their distinctive
physical features such as by their Large cheekbones, thick eyebrows and flat nose . Lombroso (1897)
claimed in his later work only a third of criminals were actually born criminal which means we should
be able to spot a criminal by looking at them because of their features. Lombroso classified criminals
into 4 major categories including born criminal . Studies have been carried out to isolate the genetic
factor and theory assuming people are born criminals due to genetic inheritance. The types of research
that were carried out to test whether we inherit criminal genes which cause us to offend are twins
studies (identical and fraternal), adoptees and family studies. Several attempts were made to test
biological and genetic theories. A study of 3000 prisoners in London in 1910 s found a strong link
between criminality of spouses and between children, siblings and their parents. It was then greatly
argued that criminality was passed down through an individual s inherited genes. Further study from
the Cambridge study in Delinquent Development established in 1960 s suggested crime did run in
families. Studies showed the link between one convicted family member leading to another

Core Principles Of Chiropractic Care
What is chiropractic care? If you asked this question to hundreds of people, only a few dozen would
know what it really is. Most think of it as a doctor that only addresses back and neck pains and
nothing else. Chiropractic care is so much more than that; it s an alternative to modern day medicine
for many different pains and diseases. Chiropractic care has been around for much longer than most
people realize. Unlike modern medicine which has been evolving and changing for the past hundred
or so years chiropractic care has relatively remained the same for thousands of years. Chiropractic
care has been used for an extensive period of time, Chiropractic types of treatment have been

Thus chiropractic care has various social, economic, political and aesthetic benefits.
Chiropractic care benefits people s social lives in more ways than most seem to realize. The affects
can be massive, like allowing you to go on more vacation you previously couldn t because of pain, or
in little ways, like allowing our older generation to be more active with their friends and family. In a
person s everyday life, pain can be a deterrent to doing many everyday activities. People with back

them great pain. Once fun times become a distant memory with the present filled with caution and
anticipation for pain. These people take medications and are referred to surgeries by their doctors to
try and improve their everyday life, when in reality all that medication and surgeries are just masking
the problems. What chiropractic care does is addresses the problem at the source. Though chiropractic
care may not fix a person 100%, it allows the person to do more in their lives with less pain. People
can t just focus on the amount of pain they re in, Instead of focusing on pain, note how much more
you can do. Improvement in activities in daily living is a more valid measure of progress than pain

My dream house may be a little different from what other people may like but I will tell you that my

crazy when I said I would live in a volcano, but obviously no one has ever tried to jump into an

Rock And Roll In The 1970 s
Rock and Roll all began in the 1950 s and we have the amazingly talented pioneer Chuck Barry to
thank for that. Though Chuck Berry was the start of it all, Elvis Presley was the rebel that gave Rock
and Roll a name and a face! This new genre of music took off once Elvis Presley began performing
and the youth of the time could not get enough. Elvis Presley had introduced and widely popularized
lyrics and dancing of a sexual nature. There was an unfortunate downfall of the rock stars in the 50 s
due to the outrage of the adult community. Rock and Roll in the 1960 s was reborn thanks to the
incredibly famous rock band known as The Beatles. The Beatles appearance on Ed Sullivan s
television show in early 1964 launched Beatlemania in the United States, which led to the British
Invasion . Another one of the big British bands that brought Rock and Roll back to life were The

Occlusal Detections
Clinical Tip #11
Unless your work environment is a pediatric office, or in an oral surgeon s office, you will not be
requested to take many occlusal projections. However, it is important to remember how this task is
achieved, because intermittently in your career you will be asked to take occlusal projections. You
must be ready for all types of radiography.

Global Financial Corp Essay

Abstract
Global Financial Corporation (GF) a subsidiary of Global Equipment Company (GEC) is tasked with
handling financing for those customers who wish to purchase GEC heavy equipment. Currently GF
only processes 51% of the leases within the 10 days or less time frame, with some loans taking up
above 41 days. Ms. Rodriguez, the Vice President of GF has been directed to decrease loan processing
time to 10 days or less with the current staff she has. The current structure of the analysis and
evaluation stage does not maximize staff time effectively and as a consequence creates a bottleneck in

Region 2 is only handling a total of 66 applications (35 new) with an average processing time of 5.7
days, and Region 3 handling 74 applications (42 new), averaging 8.7 days. The Northeast office
handles about 35% more applications with essentially the same staff. Only 51% of the applications are
processed within the 10 day or less requirement.
Analysis of the Current Processing Steps 1.
Analysis and evaluation stage is a single channel, interest rate multi channel, loan terms single
channel, and final issuing a multichannel. (Exhibit A)The current structure of the analysis and
evaluation stage does not maximize staff time effectively and as a consequence creates a bottleneck in
the process. With the single channel structure loan applications are unevenly distributed among teams
and create higher idle time for teams with less volume of loan applications to process. Utilization
among regions varies greatly between 73% 95%. The following observation of the current structure
was achieved using the MMK model (See exhibit B): * Expected wait time in the system for an
application in Region 1 is approximately 37 days, with actual processing time of 14.10 hours. This is
where the bottleneck occurs as it takes the evaluation team over 16 days out of the 37 to perform the
review of 78 applications. * Expected wait time in the system for an application in Region 2 is
approximately 11 days, with an actual processing time of 13.40 hours. Of the three

Examples Of Utilitarianism
Utilitarianism
Utilitarianism unlike other theories reviews the consequences of an action and according to Mill and
Bentham, should view happiness as being based upon pleasure that are more long lasting and cerebral.
I believe that utilitarianism is the most acceptable theory because it requires that we take into account
the consequences of an action to promote the maximum amount of happiness and unlike deontology
which does not take into account consequences nor does it take in account children and mentally
disabled individuals, whereas utilitarianism considers all human beings.

he do? An act utilitarian would pin the murder on an innocent man who happened to be passing by the
town that day, in order to create maximum happiness. The sheriff is thinking short term. However, a
rule utilitarianism would arrest the son and put him on trial which would lead the two families into
even more disputes, but this is his job, so this would lead to positive consequences in the long term.
Many people believe that other theories, such as Deontology, is a better theory than Utilitarianism
because believes that rightness and wrongness of an action doesn t rely on consequences but on
motivation, or whether they accomplish our individual duties. Deontology is a motive based theory.
There are three main elements to deontology. 1. Every individual is a rational decision maker. So, how
we arrive at a moral decision is entirely rational. 2. The process of everything you do can be decided
and worked out ahead of time. Lastly, 3. It is concerned with the purity of motives.
There are many objections to Deontology however, which is why I believe that Utilitarianism is the
best theory. For example, it assumptions are that every being is a rational agent. However, it doesn t

many people find trail running to be the most enjoyable form of running. According to Motes, there
are certain considerations that need to be acknowledged when preparing for a trail running trip. As the

ABSTRACT:
Air pollution is one of the major problems in the world. It is influenced by four major factors, such as
industrialization in the cities, increase in traffic, rapid economic development, and higher level of
energy consumption. The growth of both an industrial and residential area is unplanned in many
developing cities of India, thus, it contributing to the air pollution problems. In urban areas, the mobile
or vehicular population is predominant and significantly contributes to air quality problems. In recent
past, air pollutants, responsible for vegetation injury and crop yield losses, are causing increased
concern. Air pollution is one of the serious problems in the world, its facing today. It deteriorates
ecological condition and can be defined as the fluctuation in any atmospheric constituent from the
value that would have existed without human activity .It has been observed that plants particularly
growing in the urban areas affected greatly due to varieties of pollutants (oxides of nitrogen and

Vitamin D plays an integral role in multiple systems in the human body, from its function in Calcium

both catabolised to inactive metabolites to also regulate the amount of 1,2(OH)2D (Reid Bolland

During Vitamin D deficiency, PTH still attempts to maintain a relatively similar concentration of
Calcitriol compared to original levels, which would require an increase in PTH (Grober et al. 2013).
Hence, the better indicator of Vitamin D status and deficiency is Calcidiol (Zittermann 2006).

penicillin to keep the object free from infection(Allaby). This was a breakthrough for Salk because he
copied their procedure and used viruses from the spinal cords of polio patients and grew them in
another object to test on(Allaby). Jonas Silk has always been involved with medical science
throughout his entire life. He attends and graduates in surgery from the City College of New York. In
1938 when Salk works with Thomas Francis he was introduced to finding the influenza

urges him to want to find a vaccine for a disease. Salk ended up working on a influenza vaccine at the
Virus Research Unit of the University of Michigan School of Public Health(Allaby). From working on
the influenza vaccine Salk had the opportunity to become the head of the virus research laboratory at

Balloons are a negative impact on wildlife. They effect a lot of sea creatures, because many sea
animals mistake them for food. According to the text, dead whales and sea turtles have been found
with pieces of balloons in their stomachs. Birds are affected by them too. According to the article,

Humanity In Gilgamesh
I have understanding that you have not : Constructing Humanity in Gilgamesh
In Tablet VII of The Epic of Gilgamesh, Enkidu s last days on Earth are marked by anguish and self
pity. This outburst of anger is a uniquely human response to trauma, acting as a bookend for Enkidu s
transformation from wild to civilized through his relationship to humanity. In his rage, Enkidu lifted
[his eyes as though to the door,] / he talked with the door as if [with a man:] (p55). The cedar doors
that he and Gilgamesh fastened on the exterior gates of Uruk taunt Enkidu, reminded him of how he is
responsible for his own fate, and his mistakes are his alone to make. The cedar doors had been
constructed to serve two purposes for Enkidu and Gilgamesh: as a trophy of war celebrating their
defeat of Humbaba, and as a means of securing their legacy by contributing to the safety and grandeur
of Uruk. Enkidu s spiteful tone towards these doors, then, symbolizes dual aspects of humanity: the
desire to dominate nature in order to facilitate creation, and the eternal conflict between creators and
their creations.
This first aspect of humanity revealed through Enkidu s interactions with the cedar door is the process
of dominating nature in order to create something grander. Enkidu s background is that of a wild
creature that became civilized in order to be Gilgamesh s equal. At different points in the epic, Enkidu
both civilizes Gilgamesh and encourages him towards restlessness and adventure.

Unfortunately, a variety of issues commonly arises after admission. For instance, family members,

sometimes changes are necessary in order to create a plan of care capable of enhancing the resident s

The Pros And Cons Of High School Athletes
Athletes Yes or No There has been many occasions where high school teachers have to make a hard
decision when an athlete is failing, what should they do. I believe that no high school athlete deserves
any help from their teachers in order to play. They should be able to complete the circumstances
needed in school if they truly wanted to play the sport these athletes are in. If this idea was allowed in
high school what will happen to these kids later on in life like in college, will they be able to
accomplish the goals at that point when it matters most? Many high schools and teachers don t realize
the damage they can do to these athletes if they do give them those couple extra points to play.
According to a website, Any student should have good grades to play sports. Even if you are a great
athlete, you will probably not get a full athletic scholarship. Having good grades can lessen your stress
about affording college ( psychologytoday.com ). In this case, what teachers don t know is not only are
they making that athlete happy to play, but at the same time you are hurting that person for future
references, when later in their future college sees the kind of grades that athlete is getting he may not
be the kind of fit for whichever school that may be. Overall any student that has failed a class and is
not able to play that athlete shouldn t be able to play at all. If an athlete is not able to be responsible to

Pros And Cons Of Nuclear Fission
How Nuclear Fission produces Nuclear Bombs and Energy
KABOOOOM! That was the sound of the two atomic bombs the United States of America dropped on
the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War 2. These two bombs were the main reason the
Japanese surrendered, which led to the end of the war. The bomb at Hiroshima had a death toll of
135,000 and Nagasaki s death toll was 64,000 ( The Atomic Bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki ).
So how are these destructive bombs made? They are made by nuclear fission. Nuclear fission is when
an atom splits into two parts, either through natural decay of when instigated within a lab and it
produces energy. The natural decay is done through beta decay and blasting neutrons at the nuclear of

Unfortunately, it must be considered an early warning sign that energy reserves are being drawn down

During the second stage of recognizing stress, some of the more unpleasant effects begin to appear.
Energy reserves usually do not last through the day. Some of the symptoms include tiredness early in

Tiredness becomes more apparent in the third stage.
There is more disturbance in bowel functions as well as stomach pain. Muscles become more tight and

For individuals suffering stress to this stage, medical attention is advisable. Unless one reduces the

A Feminist Analysis Of Wonder Woman And Dianna
Wonder Woman
The arrival of Wonder Woman in theaters was celebrated with a fervor not felt since the first wave of
modern superhero films began. The potential of getting a female superhero film after decades of
studios dragging their feet or releasing bizarre messes like Catwoman powered this excitement. While
the character had appeared in adaptation before, these appearances were in animated films aimed at
the inner audience of comic aficionados, or in Saturday morning cartoons. These were fine
representations of the character and her story, but the last attempt to bring the character in front of
mainstream adult audiences were with the ABC/CBS show from the 70s. This was in contrast to the
other two members of the DC Trinity , Superman and Batman, having numerous theatrical outings. ...

the portrayal of feminist philosophy skyrockets when Dianna is being written by a woman.
Unsurprisingly, the screeching harpy scenes were written by a formerly great male writer who turned
into a conspiracy theory spewing xenophobe. This complicated history present in the comics clearly
demonstrates that without the excellent directorial talent displayed by Patty Jenkins, the film might

  • 2. Evaluating The Best Educational Placement For Children... Every year as their children enter the educational system, many parents of children with special needs have to choose the best educational fit to maximize their children s long term success. I have been one of those parents. Raising a child with special needs comes with many challenges along the way, but the choice of setting in which a child with special needs obtains their education has a long lasting impact on a child s physical and emotional health. For this reason parents in collaboration with educators must weigh many factors to determine the best educational placement for children with special educational needs. Therefore, placement in an educational setting must take into consideration the setting that provides for the best interests of each particular child. Various educational options should continue to be available to students with special needs to ensure they are receiving the education that is most appropriate for their areas strengths and weaknesses. The current special education system determines the placement for these students in accordance with the recommendation of the child s educational team. This group is made up of parents, educators and administrators from the child s school district, as well as administrators from an alternative schooling option if applicable (Ohio Department of Education). The team is unique to each student and has the goal ensuring a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) for the student in the Least Restrictive ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The control chart below shows the process system in control and needing to change or the process would continue. The overage in hours is staggering, at $130,000 per year (being $2,500 per week) or 5,200 hours on an average. A further overage of materials and direct labor cost totaling $120,000 per year in incorrect materials, for a total of $250,000 combined in reduction of costs, increasing resources of the company and client satisfaction. After we brain stormed on Supplies, process activities, output activities, and customer feedback (SIPOC) and developed further strategy for decision making. According to Pyzdek,T., Keller, (2010) a (SIPOC) is a flowcharting technique that helps identify those processes that have the greatest impact on customer satisfaction (p. 94). However, fire raids conducted by Major General Curtis E. Lemay were a significant factor in the air campaign against Japan. They also inflicted more casualties to the Japanese populous and damage to Japanese infrastructure than the atomic bombs (Hanson 60). The decision and execution of these attacks by General Lemay contributed to the overall success of the pacific campaign. The changes that General Lemay made to the XXI Bomber Command created more victories for the Americans with a lower casualty rate. These victories can also be attributed to the success of air power at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels of war. Prior to General Lemay s control of the XXI Bomber Command, Brigadier General Haywood S. Hansell Jr. was conducting high altitude bombing campaigns on Japanese infrastructure. The bombing command had a solid foundation with its safe base infrastructure, tactics, and organization of command. B 29s stationed at bases in Guam, Tinian, Saipan and Iwo Jima were being more well constructed leading to less problems during air raids. Experimental Cinem The Experimental Film Movement From the beginning of film filmmakers were using the platform to tell people stories, so that people could go be entertained and lose themselves in the experience of seeing the film. Though this form of filmmaking was entertaining for most people, some filmmakers wanted to break this tradition and expand filmmaking into a completely different way. Instead of making the same old narrative films, like classical Hollywood, they want to make more abstract and complex films, they wanted to make films as more of an art form. Instead of relying on actors and writes to tell a narrative story, these filmmakers wanted to change things up and make films that went against the norms of the Hollywood cinema. They wanted to experiment with different methods of filming, more imaginative and inventive forms. They also wanted their films to have meanings and express what they, the artist, were feeling and how they viewed the world. From this a new film movement was born, the experimental film movement. Experimental cinema first emerged in the early 1900s out of a wider social movements to speak of silenced or dissident voices (Rees, 2011). The Basic Principles Of Biological Criminology The basic principle of biological criminology comes from the belief people are born criminal through genetic inheritance or physiological predisposition to crime as written by Mclaughlin and Muncie (2013, p. 26). Early theorists such as Cesare Lombroso identified criminals by their distinctive physical features such as by their Large cheekbones, thick eyebrows and flat nose . Lombroso (1897) claimed in his later work only a third of criminals were actually born criminal which means we should be able to spot a criminal by looking at them because of their features. Lombroso classified criminals into 4 major categories including born criminal . Studies have been carried out to isolate the genetic factor and theory assuming people are born criminals due to genetic inheritance. The types of research that were carried out to test whether we inherit criminal genes which cause us to offend are twins studies (identical and fraternal), adoptees and family studies. Several attempts were made to test biological and genetic theories. A study of 3000 prisoners in London in 1910 s found a strong link between criminality of spouses and between children, siblings and their parents. It was then greatly argued that criminality was passed down through an individual s inherited genes. Vitamin D plays an integral role in multiple systems in the human body, from its function in Calcium and Phosphorus metabolism, to modulation of the immune and reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases (Grober et al. 2013). Unfortunately, factors such as diet, geographic position, and skin pigmentation are contributing to an increase of prevalence of Vitamin D deficiency around the world, consequently leading to a higher rate of associated illnesses. Namely, Cardiovascular Diseases such as Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), Hypertensive Vascular Disease, and Myocardial Infarction have been shown to be more common in people with lower levels of Vitamin D in their system (Lavie, Lee Milani 2011). Calcidiol and Calcitriol are both catabolised to inactive metabolites to also regulate the amount of 1,2(OH)2D (Reid Bolland 2012). During Vitamin D deficiency, PTH still attempts to maintain a relatively similar concentration of Calcitriol compared to original levels, which would require an increase in PTH (Grober et al. 2013). Humanity In Gilgamesh I have understanding that you have not : Constructing Humanity in Gilgamesh In Tablet VII of The Epic of Gilgamesh, Enkidu s last days on Earth are marked by anguish and self pity. This outburst of anger is a uniquely human response to trauma, acting as a bookend for Enkidu s transformation from wild to civilized through his relationship to humanity. In his rage, Enkidu lifted [his eyes as though to the door,] / he talked with the door as if [with a man:] (p55). The cedar doors that he and Gilgamesh fastened on the exterior gates of Uruk taunt Enkidu, reminded him of how he is responsible for his own fate, and his mistakes are his alone to make. The cedar doors had been constructed to serve two purposes for Enkidu and Gilgamesh: as a trophy of war celebrating their defeat of Humbaba, and as a means of securing their legacy by contributing to the safety and grandeur of Uruk. Enkidu s spiteful tone towards these doors, then, symbolizes dual aspects of humanity: the desire to dominate nature in order to facilitate creation, and the eternal conflict between creators and their creations. This first aspect of humanity revealed through Enkidu s interactions with the cedar door is the process of dominating nature in order to create something grander. Enkidu s background is that of a wild creature that became civilized in order to be Gilgamesh s equal. At different points in the epic, Enkidu both civilizes Gilgamesh and encourages him towards restlessness and adventure. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The potential of getting a female superhero film after decades of studios dragging their feet or releasing bizarre messes like Catwoman powered this excitement. While the character had appeared in adaptation before, these appearances were in animated films aimed at the inner audience of comic aficionados, or in Saturday morning cartoons.
