Author s purpose: The importance of knowledge is well established in research. The knowledge
based theory considers knowledge as the most strategically significant resource of a firm. ... Show

adaption pathways describe the track how managerial distinctions emerge to knowledge adaption.
The knowledge augmentation pathways describe the way to the augmentation of knowledge and
the third track describes how it happens that uncommon knowledge is not used.
In the knowledge adaption pathways executives consider knowledge as most important for
operational efficiency. They believe it s hard to obtain from external sources and they have
confidence in their own knowledge but limited trust in workers knowledge. They are scan ning
intensively for knowledge and personally they had a greater share in knowledge work. Firms on
that pathway are adapting knowledge and come more likely to an incremental development.
In contrast described before in the knowledge augmentation pathways leaders have a strong
confidence on own knowledge, on workers capabilities and they believe their know ledge is
distinctive and hard to imitate for competitors. Therefore they are scanning pro actively and
engaging others to knowledge work. These companies use uncommon know ledge through

Working in clinical setting was a great experience. I had the pleasure to care for a resident that
was born in the year of 1912. My resident was one hundred and two years old. During my clinical
experience with my resident and performed an assessment known as a SPICES. This assessment
allows us as caregivers to identify and help provide nursing interventions to an elderly that may
face these geriatric syndromes. During a SPICES assessment, we look for signs of problems
during sleep, problems eating, incontinence, confusion, as well as evidence of any falls and any
possible skin breakdown. During my assessment, I encountered many medical conditions my
patient has that supports that she is having problems with a few of the geriatric syndromes.
When it comes to sleep, my patient does not seem to sleep very well and has difficulty falling
asleep. There are no signs that my resident has any problems with her everyday feeding and
eating. She is able to perform this daily activity individually. As for having trouble with
incontinence, for the most part this resident is able to tell a caregiver when she has to use the
restroom. To make herself more comfortable at night she will not eat or drink anything too late
which prevents her from having to use the bathroom during sleep hours. While she will not ask
for help, if the need arises, she will use a bed pan. However, on rare occasions the patient may

Perceval remains a very impressionable young boy and his mother teaches him loyalty. For that,

Anthem In this paper, I will be talking about the book called Anthem. I will be talking about
characters such as protagonists and antagonists and how some characters impacted the story. I will
talk about the setting, conflicts, and plot of the story. I will also talk about literary devices such as
point of view, symbolism, mood, tone, and theme. In Anthem, there are a couple of characters and
some are only mentioned and some only have a few lines of dialogue. The protagonistof Anthem is

making Prometheus think of him as his friend thus favoring him over other men which are against
the rule and keeping quiet about the tunnel that Prometheus and he found. These two characters
made Prometheus break the rules and was pushing him to have more a free will than the other men.
