This Small Town Means Business: Improving Local Economy When you grow up
in a small town the one thing that is the most difficult to withstand is boredom. At
least, that s how it is for the youth of the area. However, when you look at it from an
older and more mature perspective you might realize that the main issue with some
small towns is job availability, as well as the town s revenue for different projects, etc.
Recently my hometown has been undertaking a few different projects that will really
benefit the area and it s economy. The youth league softball program has grown
tremendously within the past few years. Due to that improvement, Sallisaw was
chosen to host a state tournament. Which was wonderful until we realized that our
softball complex was not best suited for a tournament of this magnitude. This is
when talk began on building an entirely new sports complex for all of the youth
league sports in the area. One other issue arose through hosting this tournament. Out
of sixty three teams who were in the tournament last summer, only one team stayed
in Sallisaw. The rest of the teams were sent to stay in hotels here in Fort Smith, all
because the hotels that are located in Sallisaw did not have an indoor swimming

Tacit knowledge is personal knowledge embedded in individual experience and is
shared and exchanged through direct, eyeto eye contact. Clearly, tacit knowledge
can be communicated in a most direct and effective way. By contrast, acquisition
of explicit knowledge is indirect: it must be de coded and re coded into one s
mental models, where it is then internalized as tacit knowledge. In reality, these two
types of knowledge are like two sides of the same coin, and are equally relevant for
the overall knowledge of an organization. Tacit knowledge is practical knowledge that
is key to getting things done, but has been sadly neglected in the past, falling very
often victim to the latest management fad. For instance, the recent spate of business
process re engineering initiatives, where cost reduction was generally identified with
the laying off of people the real and only repositories of tacit knowledge has
damaged the tacit knowledge of many organizations. Explicit knowledge defines the
identity, the competencies and the intellectual assets of an organization
independently of its employees; thus, it is organizational knowledge par excellence,

The extraordinary novel, Watership Down, by Richard Adams is an adventure filled,
meaningful piece of literature published in London around November 1972.
Although the plot is about a group of rabbits struggling to find home, the story can

This idea may be more important than others just because it gives somewhat of a
moral lesson on how to succeed in life. Without the rabbits great work ethic and
strong will they would not have made it to Watership Down. Even after they were
worn to the brim and some even injured, they kept on going because they had a

Gasoline is produced by a distillation process where crude oil is heated and fumes
are captured and converted into many products such as kerosene, jet fuel, and

The death penalty has been around before the birth of the United States Constitution.
The death penalty is a very conversational topic and is a deterrent of the worst
criminal acts (murder, rape, and terrorism). Support for the death penalty has gone
down in recent years from 1994 to 2014 support of for the death penaltydropped 20%.
Kenneth Williams blames these key factors innocence, race, arbitrariness,
incompetent lawyers, etc... ). For many decades the supreme court has tried to
make adjustments to the death penalty by reviewing steps to reduce bias. The death

When watching the movie, Eat Drink Man Woman , I was able to learn a lot about
the Chinese culture and the food that they eat. Even though all the food that was
prepared in the film was high end cuisine, I was still able to get a glimpse of what it
had to offer. When a lot of Americans think of Chinese food, they tend to think
strictly about American Chinese food, and that is not the case. Many meals were
prepared in the film that ranged from elegant soups, chicken, duck, and fish, to
fancy dumplings, and desserts. The film was able to show me a lot of what the food

Poliomyelitis (polio) is disease that affects the muscle and the nerves and can lead
to partial or full paralysis. Symptoms of polio include fever, muscle spasms, and

Franklin was paralyzed from the chest down at first than the disease relaxed and

Cruel things happen everywhere around the world today; there are things that make
us question the world that we live in. In the novel After the First Death written by
Robert Cormier a terrorist hijacking of a school bus filled with little kids is a cruel
thing. In the book there are characters who are innocent and then the characters who
are not so innocent. Raymond, Kate , and Ben were innocent but, this innocence was
taken away from them by the end of this novel.
Raymond was one of the many little kids on the bus during the hijacking, when
Raymond was first introduced he was known as the chunkier kid. When the
terrorists first hijacked the bus they gave all the kids drugged candy to sedate them.
On page 107 it stated To make up for being late. He kept his room neat. He washed
up good before eating. He did not fidget. He did not eat candy except at special
times (107). Raymond did not eat the candy that Artkin gave to him because he
wasnt allowed to. He was an innocent little boy who did as he was told but it was
changed when the terrorists found out he did not eat the candy. A second example

The 16S rRNA gene sequences amplified from cranberry bogs resolved into 49

Jaquan Waller Character Analysis
Young and talented football player, Jaquan Waller, known as the star running back
for the Greenville Rose High School football team, ended his skyrocketing career
