1. A Friend Essay
Crafting an essay about a friend may seem like a straightforward task at first glance, given the
familiarity of the subject. After all, who knows your friend better than you do? However,
delving into the intricacies of friendship and capturing its essence on paper can prove to be a
more challenging endeavor than anticipated.
The difficulty lies in striking the right balance between personal anecdotes and universal
experiences that resonate with a broader audience. Sharing too many personal details might risk
the essay becoming overly sentimental or losing its relatability. On the other hand, relying solely
on general observations could result in a generic and uninspiring piece.
Furthermore, finding the perfect words to encapsulate the depth of emotions and nuances in a
friendship can be a daunting task. The challenge is not just in narrating the events but in
conveying the feelings and the impact of those moments on the writer's life.
Additionally, there's the struggle to maintain a coherent structure that keeps the reader engaged
from start to finish. It requires skill to transition seamlessly between different aspects of the
friendship, avoiding abrupt shifts that might confuse or disinterest the reader.
Moreover, the desire to create a memorable essay can lead to perfectionism, causing one to
continually edit and revise. Striking the right chord between expressing genuine feelings and
adhering to the conventions of good writing is a delicate balance that requires careful
consideration.
In conclusion, writing an essay on the topic of friendship demands not only a deep
understanding of one's relationship with the friend but also a mastery of storytelling and a keen
sense of empathy. It's a process that involves navigating the fine line between the personal and
the universal, while maintaining a captivating narrative flow. Despite the challenges, the reward
lies in creating a piece that not only celebrates a friendship but also resonates with others who
may have had similar experiences.

Proset Autism is the organization with whom I did my placement. Proset is a new

disabilities and limitations of these children and teenagers. I worked with children
ages 7 9 for one hour twice a week at Hampstead elementary and Parkdale

consisted of routine and structured activities and tasks that allowed the children to

According to Fortune (2017) ADHD is one of the most common neurodevelopmental
disorders of childhood (Lecture 8, slide 2). A child by default already has high energy
levels and constantly needs to be active however according to Fortune (2017), ADHD
can be categorised in three types: predominantly inattentive presentation,
predominantly hyperactive impulsive presentation and combined presentation
(Lesson 8, slide 3). The child (Jon) with ADHD with whom I worked was diagnosed
with predominantly hyperactive impulsivity presentation. Jon had a hard time
waiting for activities to start, and once they did, he would not follow the rules
instead he would run up on the benches then come on the court to play with another
child who was not his partner then he would run back to the instructor to complain
he was bored and wanted to do other things (the same behaviors happened when we
switched activities). However, I developed an intervention plan for Jon so that he can
stay still long enough that he can focus on tasks and be able to participate with the
other children. The intervention plan stated that Jon needed to release his energy, and
gets bored very quickly, therefore, I came up with a schedule for Jon to follow

I had the opportunity to interview Megan Whitbeck who is a social worker at
Legacy Village Transitional Rehabilitation center. I met with Megan on a Thursday
afternoon at her workplace, Legacy Village which is located in Taylorsville Utah.
Megan was extremely professional, yet also very friendly and we jumped right into
the interview.
We began the interview by discussing Megan s schooling and history. Megan
graduated from Brigham Young University Idaho with a Bachelor s degree in social
work. Megan informed us that social work had not always been her first career
choice. Originally Megan had planned to become a teacher, however like most
college students she changed her mind as well as her major a few times. Megan
went on to explain that she considered majoring in sociology or marriage and family
studies however she chose social work instead because she believed it would be a
more marketable and beneficial degree. Megan has worked very closely with senior
citizens since she graduated with her Bachelor s degree many years ago. Megan
stated that she loves the population she works with and wants to continue working in
the senior care industry.
Megan is now the social services director at Legacy village. Legacy village is Megan
s second place of employment in the social work field since obtaining her degree.
Megan has many responsibilities and tasks to complete as the social service director
and case manager. It is Megan s job to assess patient s individual situations and

9. Transparency As A Theoretical Matter Of Perception
Transparency (Literal vs. Phenomenal) Transparency is defined and understood by
most people as having the property of transmitting light without appreciable
scattering so that bodies lying beyond are seen clearly . The growth in production
and development of technology resulted in a new understanding for transparency in
architecture and art. The architects Colin Rowe and Robert Slutzky believe that
transparency is classified into two different types, literal and phenomenal, where one
is the result of optical effects, while the other type is based on spatial effects that are
translated in the subconscious mind. Classifying transparency into two different
types allows a shift from understanding transparency as science, to comprehending
transparency as a theoretical matter of perception. The categorization of transparency
into two types helps people understand transparency as something beyond science
and relate it to a speculative matter of observation. While both literal and
phenomenal are understood as types of transparencies they preform completely
differently. Literal transparency leaves nothing for the imagination of the viewer to
see. The materials and pigments used in architecture or art to achieve this type of
transparency are superimposed, and the forms are placed behind the transparent
surface are clear to the viewer. Therefore, literal transparency is based strictly on the
viewer sight, where the viewer is only using his eyes and emotions to read the project.

parents about the angry students protesting at Kent State Universitybecause of the
Vietnam War. In Waiting for Dan, activists fought for equal rights for all races by
participating in the Freedom Ride. Between these texts, there are multiple similarities,
as well as differences.
To start off, one similarity the protesters had were that they both were letting the
government know that they were against the current events of their time. In Kara s

. . Before he left, he justified his decision by saying the Freedom Ride would bring
the race issue to the forefront of American politics. In this particular example, the
reader learns that although the government had laws to say that segregation was
illegal, it was still practiced in Southern states. As a result, protesters had to express
themselves to the government. Another similarity between the protesters in the texts
is that they were both standing up for peace. During the Civil Rights Movement,
African Americans were violently treated inferior. Their petitions and rallies
struggled to stop the brutality so the environment would be more peaceful. In
Waiting for Dan, the text states, A group of African Americans and whites would
board buses and ride through the Southern states. Inside the bus, the whites would
sit in the back of the bus and the blacks would sit in the front. In this case, the
Freedom Ride represented the opposite end of segregation; where everyone was
equal. While these activists were protesting to end brutality towards blacks, students
at Kara s University stood up to stop the Vietnam War. Many college scholars were
angry because the U.S.

The UK civil nuclear power industry initially started in 1946 followed by the
establishment of one of the world s first nuclear power plant in 1956 [23 24]. This
commercial scale reactor was built in southwest Scotland and given a name
MAGNOX due to the fuel cladding (magnesium non oxidising alloy) used to contain
the fuels. The MAGNOX reactor uses natural uraniummetal fuel to generate thermal
energy while using graphite bricks to moderate the fast moving neutrons within
the core. Two types of graphite bricks are used in MAGNOX design; these are Pile
Grade A (PGA) and Pile Grade B (PGB). The former is used as a neutron moderator
due to its high density and lower neutron absorption, whereas the latter is mostly used
as a reflector [23].... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Currently, there are fifteen operating reactors in the UK with a combined total output
around 8883 MWe, and one under construction [27]. Fourteen of the fifteen operating
reactors are AGRs and located at seven different power stations, making the AGRs the
most dominant nuclear reactors in the UK. The remaining two reactors (including the
one under construction) are based on PWR design.
AGRs are the second generation of the UK nuclear power plants, and initially
designed to improve the steam cycle efficiency of the early reactor design
(MAGNOX). This type of reactors exists only in the UK and operated by EDF
Energy (formerly British Energy). Since the AGRs first operation in 1976 they
have become the UK s most dominant reactor after showing an increased
economic benefits and steam cycle efficiency approximately 42% compared with
MAGNOX reactor, which has approximately 31% efficiency [25]. AGRs are
capable of producing peak fuel temperature approximately 800 В°C and the coolant
gas temperature approximately 650 В°C at 40 bars. The steam generated by the
AGRs can reach up to 540 В°C at 165 bar, which is capable of driving the standard
660 MW turbines.

The last way television is corrupting us is by the gratification theory spoken by
Steven Reiss. He stated, People select media to fulfill certain needs. Media events
repeatedly allow people to experience 16 desires and joys . One of those
fulfillments is curiosity. People always want to know what is going on with
somebody else. Creating shows about people s lives gives television watchers a
first hand look of what someone else experiences or endures. The show Keeping up
with the Kardashians is a good example. Most people are curious about how
celebrities live. We have that desire for knowledge. Another fulfillment is
vengeance. Some people love to watch other people being humiliated since it is not
them. This is a key component in most reality television shows. An example of
such a reality show would be Hell s Kitchen. This show has normal working class
people aspiring to be a chef in an upscale restaurant owned by Chef Gordon
Ramsey. He speaks to the contestants on this show in a very degrading and
humiliating manner. He feels his ways are teaching the people to perform at their
best. I do not know of anyone, under normal work place circumstances, that would
sit there and allow themselves to be embarrassed and disrespected by their boss.
Behind the scenes, this attitude is encouraged to bring in more viewers. Another
gratification is lust. They have all kind of shows that represent lusting. One example
would be Flava of Love. How can these
15. A Common Explanation Of The Crisis Of Labor Movements
A common explanation of the crisis of labor movements is that the hypermobility
of productive capital in the late twentieth century has created a single labor market
in which all the world s workers are forced to compete. (Silver, 2003, p3) This
statement suggested that the single labor market causes the employers to hire the
enormous amount of unorganised workers due to the production line demand more
workers. For instance, the new president of Unite State (U.S.), Donald Trump,
claims Reducing taxes from 35% to 15% will be a job creator (Donald Trump,
2016). By doing this, it has the huge positive effect on companies, small and big
businesses. Since the reduction in taxes drops 20%, the companies can use that 20 %
to move production line back to the country and hire the same amount of workers or
even more.
Silver structured the book into five sections introduction, labor movements and
capital mobility, labor movements and product cycles, labor movements and world
politics and contemporary dynamics in worldhistorical perspective. The first section
the writer briefly explain what cause the labor movement and what impact has it
bring into the industries. Next section, she analysed the unstable of world scale
dynamics of labour. Till this second section, the readers have understood a bit more
about labor movements, focused on the leading capitalist industry of the twentieth
century. The third part she used The Automobile

Looking back in American history, America has tended to have different phases
lasting around ten years. The nineteen twenties will always be remembered in
history because of the triumphal progress in many different areas. The twenties were
a time of great change in America in many different areas. The changes were in the
laws, the lifestyle of women especially and the moral values that they lived by. One
of the major events that sculpted this era was prohibition. In The Great Gatsby, F.
Scott Fitzgeraldexplores the life of crime associated with prohibition causing the
enormous transformation of Jay Gatz to Jay Gatsby, and also causing a tremendous
change in America.

Restaurant businesses began to fail due to the ban on alcohol, and many had to

The consequences of shutting down all of the alcohol is not felt in America s
economy today which has made an even larger bounce back since the sale of alcohol
became illegal.
Even with the sale of alcohol illegal, speakeasies started to pop up within the larger
cities. These speakeasies were very private and very selective about the type of
people that they let in to their speakeasies. In The Great Gatsby, Fitzgerald paints a
picture of a speakeasy where Jay takes Nick to for lunch. The clubs location is very

At the club some of New York City s most famous and notorious members of high

Throughout history, humans have been unfortunately known for exploiting fellow
humans. Major instances of exploitation include slavery and, as German philosopher
Karl Marx argued, capitalism. Marx, having observed the class conflict between the
bourgeoisie (the capitalists) and the proletariat (the workers), said that in the capitalist
system, the bourgeoisie take advantage of the proletariat for financial gains. With the
introduction of modern industry, instead of helping the workers work less, machinery
only worsened the conflict as capitalists utilized them for the wrong purposes that in
turn suppressed the workers even more. Marx s ideas have influenced countless

Animism, which is a core part of the Japanese s Shinto faith, has inspired and is
continuing to inspire Japanese culture. It gives rise to the notion that everything be
it animate or inanimate has a spirit. In other words, the Shinto faith has the
tendency to humanize everything, from dogs to man made objects. With regards
to Metropolis, the robots used by the capitalists as a cheap form of labour embody
elements from the Shinto faith, in that they appear to be sentient not in the physical
sense, but in the emotional sense. The blurring of the line between the robots
humanness and nonhumanness is further exemplified when Tima, a robot
assembled after the plutocrat Duke Red s deceased daughter, asks, Am I human,
or am I one of those poor robots? Her original belief that she is human and not a
robot, as well as her apparent ability to feel emotions, prove that in Metropolis there
are no distinctions between human and robot. Hence, while the robots are still
considered machines who steal workers jobs, they also possess the proletariat
identity alongside the impoverished workers themselves. They are exploited way
worse than the workers as they are often sent down to unbearable conditions in the
sewers where no human could last a day. In connection to Marx, Marx said that in
the typical capitalist s factory every organ of sense is injured... by artificial elevation
of the temperature, by the dust laden
19. Theories Of Virtue Ethics And Utilitarianism
A variety of ethics theories can be applied to this particular situation, however only
two will be discussed in detail. Virtue ethics and utilitarianism are relevant in the
scenario regarding the conjoined twins. Virtue ethics is described as being an action
is right if and only if it is what a virtuous agent would do in similar circumstances
(Shockley). Utilitarianism is a part of consequential ethicsand it basically states that
whatever benefits the needs of the majority is superior to those of a minority. The
agent in the definition of virtue ethicsis a person who abides by a morally right life.
They live a life of excellency and strive to be the very best they can be. Some people
criticize this branch of ethics, because there are vast differences on what constitutes
as a virtue(Shockley). There is also the point that it particularly focuses on a single
individual, and their overall... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With that plan of action, they are basically choosing to let Mary die to allow Jodie
the chance of living. The question to consider here is this: is it better to let both
girls die or at least let one of them have the opportunity to be able to live her life? It
is a very difficult question to fathom, but the general idea behind the concept of
utilitarianism is how good or bad the consequence will be. Letting Mary die is sad
to think about, but it will be redeemed by the end result: Jodie living. Realistically
speaking, Jodie has a much stronger body than Mary, and if Mary is kept intact, she
would only continue draining Jodie s strength and ultimately her life. It is how good
the aftermath is, that determines if an action is right or wrong. So in conclusion, it
would be morally right to separate the two girls and let Jodie live, at the unfortunate
expense of her sister Mary. One life saved is better than none at

like this. Goya, however, was not uneducated in the horrors of the world, witnessing
the travesties of the Peninsular War, the atrocities of the Spanish Inquisition,
surviving two life threatening illnesses, with one leaving him completely deaf, and
the death of six of his seven children. Perhaps it was one of these instances in
particular that encouraged him to conceiving this disconcerting figure, or perhaps it
was a combination of the three.
At the beginning of Goya s career, in 1777, he was commissioned to create a series
of tapestry cartoons from the Royal Tapestry Factory, designing some 42 patterns
over five years. Some of his more popular paintings were originally tapestry cartoons
such as The Parasol. His use of the popular Rococo style, brought him to the attention
of the aristocracy of Spain. In 1789, he was appointed to court painter to Charles IV
and then the following year, he became First Court Painter. His portraits of the king,
queen and royal family, were anything but flattering. While he was given this great
position of influence and prestige, he

consistent with what we know about how people grow ,learn and develop .The theory
is called experiential learning to emphasize the central role that experience plays in
the learning process. The theory suggests that learning requires abilities that are polar
opposites, and that the learner must continually choose which set of learning abilities

Even when one is able to pass the practical hurdles, one must deal with the social
concerning hurdles such as language and cultural differences. Even with the help of
organization such as World Health Organization, providing medical necessities
remains a concerning problem. Healthcare providers must be able to subdue all of
these hurdles to be able to provide adequate service to their rural patients.
2
Definition
It has been a problem to discuss the medical needs of rural areas simply because
there are many areas that fall under the rural category. The term rural is considered
very vague: a sparsely populated non urban region. This means that the term rural
can be branded to areas ranging from semi developed areas such as Lanai, to the
almost isolated villages of Yendi. Rural populations differentiate from one another
depending on the region they reside in. However, these regions have some things in
common such as non condensed population.
Although the amount of inhabitants varies from area to area, most rural areas share
a constant. The population density of almost all rural areas is low. Yendi, for
example has a population 52,000 condensed in a area of 4,087.2 square kilometers.
Burley, Idaho, another rural area is slightly more condensed with a population of
10,456 residing in 16 square kilometers. When compared to the 12,150,996
inhabitants living within the 4,496 square kilometers of the urbanized Los

This constraint constructs a triangle with geometric proportions illustrating the

generally the triple constraints as key elements of project success. If one of these
three constraints get reduces it will have an impact on the other one, balancing
between them is crucial for project managers. It is said that To create a successful
project, a project manager must consider scope time and cost and balance these
three often competing goals . Dr. Martin Barnes first defined the iron triangle one
of forces to limit as distant back as 1969 in terms of time, price and output (whatwe
today have relation to range of observation). These three forces to limit are
strongly connected to each other, for this reason the name the iron triangle 1. To

This also applies to employment. Recent research has shown that we are currently

knowledge that self defeating behaviours are detrimental to ourselves and to society,
we seem to perpetuate them. Sigmund Freud suggested that humans have an innate

25. The Creation Of The British Colonial Empire
The creation of the British colonial empire was one of the great facts of history. For
the Empire, Britain took a larger share than any other nation in developing the
movement of people between continents; it also has changed the expansion of
Whites, Blacks and Indians. By exporting outside its borders, together with its
colonists, civilization, language, and institutions, it contributed mightily to the vast
movement of Westernization of the world. Many historians debate on how the
empire began. In general, they say it started in the early 12th century when the
Normans moved into Ireland. The empire was huge and vast, which brought a lot of
changes in many parts of the world. Today, many people of the world live the way
they do because of the impact of the British Empire. An important aspect about the
British is how the imperialism marked the international system in many countries.
The First Empire was during 1583 to 1783 and the Second Empire was during 1783 to
1815. This research assignment will approach mainly on what occurred during the
19th century, identified as the Imperial Century. During this century, Britain
dominated every field where there is human activity. Some of the reasons behind the
establishment of the Empire were mostly economic reasons, national prestige and the
release from national conditions.
Why did Britain want to build an Empire? Firstly, one of the main reasons is the
resources found in the overseas colonies who offered cheap natural possessions.

Beowulf showed his confidence by defeating the monster unassisted by his 14
warriors. Leadership is not a skill that everyone has the ability to learn. Few people
are natural born leaders, some learn along their journey of life. Beowulf is a strong
willed, courageous warrior, who has many characteristics of a leader. Many have
believed Beowulf to be a leader, many followed him as so. However, In this
modern day, beowulf would be an unsuccessful Business leader. A good leader
realizes when he needs help, and picks the right men to do so. When having these
people work with you, you must appreciate their efforts, Outstanding leaders go out
of their way to boost their self esteem of their personal, if people believe in
themselves, it s amazing what people can accomplish (Sam Walton). Beowulf
failed to praise his 14 warriors, so when it came time for them to help, they bailed
on him. They did not believe they had the strength to do so. Beowulf lacked basic
communication skills with his warriors. Beowulf never failed to take care of them,

Everyone has a role in accomplishing the mission and everyone directly impacts the
effectiveness of his or her organization (Horton, p 247). According to Conger and

determining and defining one s own guiding beliefs and assumptions lie at the heart
of becoming a great leader. Providing direction and exercising influence are the two
functions at the core of most definitions of leadership. Leaders work with others to

This chapter is dedicated to present the design considerations and the main
implementation steps to establish Zero Knowledge protocol model, the established
proto type is a web based application, represented as a web site. The major
requirements (CIA) confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity are covered by the
security system.
3.2Architecture of the security system
In order to get a system is characterized by durability, flexibility and resistant any
potential change, the security system is designed and consists of three layers: the user
interface layer, the application logic layer and the database layer. All these layers in
the security system the main goal is to make applications evolve and implementation
easy and efficient.
The first layer(interface layer) offers to the user a friendly and convenient entry to
contact with the system. The second layer (application logic layer) implements the
controlling functionalities and manipulating the underlying logic connection of
information flows; finally the data modeling job is conducted by the database layer,
which can store, index, manage and model information needed for this application

through any web browser (like Google Chrome or Netscape). To build this system a
number of sub programs were built using some programming languages. The main

Interviewing is the most widely used data gathering technique in OD programs. It is a
very direct, personal, and flexible survey, and is the only technique that provides two

The Implementation Of Data Collection
пЃ¶Data collection begins with a decision about Who to obtain data from? and How
many respondents?
пЃ¶Data should be collected from several levels, from the top of the organization to
down. Different questions for each of them.
пЃ¶The one to one interview is the most common data gathering method.
Diagnostic Models
пЃ¶The Analytical Model
The organization is made up of different departments, if the organization want to be
effective, all the departments must be integrated into a unified effort. Which means
departments in one organization can not have different goals.
The tasks the departments work on can be examined in respect four characteristics:
1)The degree of the departmental structure;
2)The time orientation of members;

Many found the bleakness and insignificance of modern society enough to merit both
withdrawal and protest.
Throughout On the Road, the influence of the Beat movement s ideals on Kerouac
s writing is overtly apparent. As the narrator meanders up and down the country,
both the main characters , and the lone hitch hikers they pick up contain an
attitude of restlessness which can be seen in their actions and speak. While
hitching a ride from a farmer, as Sal and Dean prepare their story to tell the man,
he stops them simply asking, You boys going somewhere, or just going? This so
elegantly captures the internal state of the author coming out bluntly in the work.
The beat idealism heavily places importance on personal discovery in any way
possible, not necessarily knowing what that path looks like only knowing that you
must travel to reach it. Kerouac was distraught with the complacency of living in
one place, and set out with no real place to go, and as he writes in response to the
farmer we didn t know the answer to the question, but it was a damn good question

The secession of South Carolina from the Union was the most extreme way that the
South argued for states rights. John C. Calhoun was, perhaps, best remembered for
his part in inspiring the South s effort to achieve national independence in the Civil
War, even though it took place nearly twelve years after his death.
Daniel Webster was one of the best orators in the United States during his time and,
perhaps, ever. While arguing that the Constitution had created a single, unified
nation he put up strong opposition to nullification. When Webster spoke on the
senate floor, he left everyone in awe. He was a magnificent lawyer and a
convincing speaker. Daniel Webster was probably best remembered for his role in
the short story The Devil and Daniel Webster .
Henry Clay was, perhaps, the greatest compromiser of all time, authoring such
documents as the Missouri Compromise, the Compromise of 1850, and the 1833
compromise bill that gradually lowered the tariff which the South had been so angry
about. His view on states rights was that they should work with the federal
government to come to come to a compromise on the issue. Henry Clay was best

England experienced the death of George IV and accession of William IV in 1830

The Austrian Empire was vulnerable to revolutionary challenge. The new Austrian

the borders of the empire, rebellions began. In document 6, it shows a Presentation

37. Hippocrates Code Of Ethics Summary
The goal of the great fifth century physician, Hippocrates, was to set a universal code
of conduct for doctors. Written around 400 BC, the Hippocratic Oath is a promise by
doctors to uphold certain standards, along with what they should not do, in their
practice. The father of medicine, Hippocrates, emphasized reason and honesty when
he penned this code of ethics for physicians to abide. This document has sustained
much purpose to this day despite its age. Through historical analysis of the text, one
can infer much about the values of the ancient Greeks at the time of composition. In
his writing, Hippocratesrevealed the value of religion, provided a higher degree of
humanism in medicine, and displayed the clashes between modern social... Show

While Hippocrates emphasized the value of religion, he also held humanism to a
higher degree compared to codes of ethics in the past. Through the Hippocratic Oath,
it can deciphered that medicine is a humane practice which embodies the values of a
particular society. Hippocrates repeatedly notes the importance of a respectful
relationship between doctor and patient throughout the text. The oath defends the
needs and well being of patients, committing to the creation of an environment built
on trust. Hippocrates stated that anything revealed to the doctor, whether seen or
heard professionally or privately , will be kept secret ; this concept is now widely
known as doctor patient confidentiality (Hippocrates). Doctor patient confidentiality
stems from the vulnerable relationship between a patient seeking medical care or
advice from a physician. As noted in the oath, sensitive information revealed by the
patient is not to be divulged by his or her doctor. Likewise, physicians swore to
abstain from harming or wronging any man in their position of power (Hippocrates).
They were expected to have pure motives, with no intentions to inflict harm upon
patients. Overall, Ancient Greeks greatly valued the morality of an individual,
especially one in a position of authority. Although the Oath of Hippocrates contains
many values that should still be upheld by physicians in the twenty first century,
several have become obsolete as science has advanced and separated from the

Then, much to the disappointment of both parties, the proverbial veil that had so far

Material Needs
Love by itself does not subsist on fresh air and sunshine alone. The present world is
a materialistic world and in order to meet your material needs, proper financing and
budgeting is essential. Without it, no family can live comfortably. Such a situation
aptly bears out the saying that when poverty knocks at the door, love flies through
the window . This does not mean that one must be rich to make a marriage work.
However, if one has the bare necessities of life provided through a secure job and
careful planning, many unnecessary anxieties can be removed from a marriage.
The discomfort of poverty can be averted if there is complete understanding between
the couple. Both partners must understand the value of contentment. Both must treat
all problems as our problems and share all the ups and downs in the true spirit of a
long standing life partnership.
A feeling of security and contentment comes from mutual understanding which is the

Therefore, it is necessary to introduce the artificial pinning centers (APCs) into the
YBCO films. At present, a lot of attempts have been taken for the improvement of
JC, such as substrate surface decoration, impurity addition, and RE addition or
substitution. A substantial amount of work in recent years has been focused on
the introduction of artificial pinning defects by a self assembly process such as
BaZrO3, BaSnO3, BaIrO3, BaHfO3 and Ba2YNbO6[5] defects. Nanophase
additions can also be classified as one, two, and three dimensional artificial pinning
centers (1D APC, 2D APC, 3D APC). 1D APC s display linear defects, and include
BSO and BZO nanorods. 2D APC s display planar defects, and include small angle
grain boundaries, anti phase boundaries, and surfaces of large precipitates.3D APC s
result from nano particles, such as Y2O3[4].
The key driving force for alignment of such BZO nanodots into columns oriented
along the c axis is the minimization of the misfit strain arising from
the lattice mismatch of BZO with YBCO. In other words, a certain minimum level of
misfit strain provides the necessary driving force for self assembly to occur. We have
recently found that lattice mismatches in the range of 5 12 % generates adequate
misfit strains required for the self assembly[6]. The experimental and simulation
results showed that lattice mismatches below this range do not result in enough misfit
strains and hence no

heard two zoo goers speak to each other about, Why is that Tazmanian Devil just
sleeping and the other replied, speaking for the animal, I am just taking a Saturday

The Master of the Rolls instructed the Lord Justice Jackson to review the rules and
principles governing the costs of civil litigation and to make recommendations in

Lord Justice Jackson is optimistic that this discretion will only be exercised in
exceptional circumstances however Prof. Zuckerman would find this contradictory in
the sense that the Jackson report demonstrates the judiciary s failure to curb down the
costs. He states that history of costs teaches us that discretion in costs creates
expensive satellite litigation and no cost reduction in the long run.
Cost management in Multi Track system.
One of Lord Jacksons recommendations to reduce costs of litigation is to control the
costs by proposing a system of cost management. It is defined as the process where
the costs incurred by the defendant or respondent are actively controlled by the courts
by determining whether the costs incurred were rightly incurred or were reasonably

Lord Jackson goes on further to note the elements pertaining to it and in a sense
establishes its procedure
The essential elements of costs management are the following:
(i)The parties prepare and exchange litigation budgets or (as the case proceeds)

(ii)The court states the extent to which those budgets are approved.

approved budgets.
(iv)At the end of the litigation, the recoverable costs of the winning party are
