This career guideline document provides advice for programmers at different stages of their career.
For students, it recommends dreaming ambitiously but having fallback options, participating in programming contests, solving online problems, and gaining a broad technical foundation. It also suggests engaging in extracurricular activities and open sourcing projects on GitHub.
For junior developers, the document emphasizes focusing on knowledge and attitude over money, completing tasks independently, avoiding complaining, being a team player, and practicing data structures and algorithms. It also recommends participating in hackathons and contributing to open source.
