It is not enough to just address the public in the event of a crisis a plan must be developed in order to do three things: Create A Plan ,[object Object]
 Emphasize commitment to goals
 Focus on the tasks that need to be carried out,[object Object]
Inevitably the media and the public will start rumors pertaining to your companies particular crisis. Much of the time these rumors are far worse than what the truth is. It is important to quell these rumors before they have the chance to gain legs and take off. A good forum to address and dispel these rumors is a press conference. It shows the public that you have nothing to hide and instills confidence in your organization. Deal With Rumors
It is not enough to just tell your employees what the problem is and what's being done. The following information is also very important to relay: Be Upfront and Thorough ,[object Object]

What was the process used to make the decision?
