2.  Today what is counted as “ scientific
methodology “ in research of Ayurveda is
very unscientific .
 No application of background science
which is focused to define clearly and
weight accurately the cause- mechanism –
effect of relevant characteristics in the
topic of research .
 Instead, non controlled parameters are
randomly distributed with no possibility to
define and modulate them precisely .

3.  Though the researchers are meant to be
scientists , in reality ,they are not .
 Many meaningless correlation coefficients
which has no relation with causation are
passed off as valid results in today’s
research.
 Milking the data is done instead of exploring
science .
 The researchers hence are no real scientists

4.  Statistical analysis does not teach us
anything about the intrinsic circumstances of
every subject and his nature of response to
the external environment.
 “Purusham purusham veekshya “ is not
applied today and “data data veekshya “ is
being done.
 Collection, classification and analysis of data
cannot explain the specific intrinsic
circumstances of the subject .

5.  In Ayurveda, basic science explains what to
look for, how to observe , how to appraise,
how to apply and how to evaluate .
 Ayurveda is complete science “of life” and
complete science “for Medicine”.
 Ayurveda is Science Based Medicine , not
Data based one.

6.  Statistical method is only observational and
anecdotal and not science based method.
 True scientific method instructs to follow
science in observation, appraisal, application
and evaluation.
 The proven treatment is treatment proven
“for intended effects and protection from
harm led by Basic science exactly intended
for the situation in the subject”
 Proven treatment is determined by solid
Basic science in Ayurveda, not drug
manufacturers or statisticians

7.  Proven treatment is treatment proven for
attainment of health in the subject and not
benefits outweighing risks .
 Proven treatment could be rendered SOLELY
by Science based practitioners .
 Proven treatment is treatment proven by
science (permanently valid theorems and
principles) and not statistics in Ayurveda.

8.  Physicians are always accountable for their
right as well as wrong therapeutic actions.
 Medical errors in Ayurveda is not because eof
imperfect science, but because of imperfect
actions .
 The scope and limitations of Ayurveda are
well explained by reasoning in science of
Ayurveda itself and not anywhere in the
textbooks of statistics.

9.  If Ayurveda doctors start thinking and
reasoning based on data and statistics
instead of standardied science based
guidelines and react, danger is waiting for
the patients.
 Today, Ayurveda doctors hardly know to
practice science and more inclined to “data
based Medicine” .
 Many practice empiricism and tradition
while many others practice Modern Medicine
.

10.  KICK THE EXISTING MEDICO BUSINESS
CULTURE .
 LEARN & ADOPT THE SCIENCE BASED
PRACTICE CULTURE .
 Common sense in science makes the greatest
scientific sense.

11. Wise people laugh at nonsense and accept
sense .
 Unwise accept nonsense and laugh at sense .
Wise science must possess wise followers for
its accurate revelation.
 Scientific wisdom is therefore indispensible
for Ayurvedic physician
