This class teaches treatments for clients that help to re-balance the body to proper anatomical position.
Through life, we build up chronic imbalances in our bodies due to repetitive tasks, daily routine, and emotional stress. This class addresses how to treat these imbalances.
It starts with assessing the client's imbalances through an advanced assessment process. Next, we go over and practice treatment techniques. Finally, we go over treatment plans on how to correct these imbalances with clients both in office treatment and at home work for clients. The main focus techniques are from NMT. Also, we work with stretches and positional work that helps to rebalance the areas most commonly out of balance with clients. Areas of specific work are: the neck, back, wrists (carpal tunnel), the jaw (TMJ), the hips, and all aspects of the legs.
This is a complete technique, taking you from assessing the client's areas of need to the end result, a rebalanced body for the client.
Necessary Supplies: Please bring 2 twin sheets, 1 pillow case and one queen pillow to use as a bolster. Also bring massage oil or cream in a leak-proof bottle.
