NEW!!!! Have you ever wanted to use a YouTube video in your PowerPoint or Keynote presentation, but couldn’t figure out how to download it to your computer? There’s an easier way that allows you to seamlessly download a copy of the video and then embed it right into your slide. This presentation has been updated with new tools.

Wait for the video to
start playing. It’s not
necessary for the
video to completely
download.
6. Step4
In the URL box at the top of the
page, type the letter “pwn” to the
right of the period in “www.”

7. Step5
Hit return or search. The address
will automatically take you to a
site called deturl.com
8. The URL of the YouTube
video will automatically
load in the form.
12. Step8
Select one of the player
and quality options.
Your video will then begin
downloading.
13. Step9
To insert the video into your
presentation slide, choose
the “insert” dropdown and
click on “Movie.”
Find the newly renamed
video file on your computer
and “choose” it.
14. PowerPoint or Keynote will then
prompt you to choose to play the video
when clicked or automatically.
15. Congratulations!
Your video is now inserted into your
presentation and ready to view without
leaving your presentation deck..
16. Note: You can also use
the same tool for
download mp3 files of the
same video.
17. Just hit the “record”
button under the
“Record Audio”
section of
Dirpy Studio.
18. If you only need a
shorter segment of
the audio, you can
enter the start and
end times in the
boxes provided.
