3. INTRODUCTION
P-ISM is ‘Pen - Style Personal Networking Gadget Package’.
It is ‘Electronic Perception Technology’.
Connected with one another through short range Wireless technology.
Whole set is connected to internet through cellular phone function.
This gadget is a Minimalistic Pen.

4.  P-ISM - created in 2003, by
Japanese technology company NEC.
First featured at the 2003 ITU Telecom
world held in Geneva, Switzerland.
 Designed by Toru Ichihash.

A product that could be touched and felt.
Create a product with minimal size.
Further, the intent is to allow for ‘an office anywhere’.

9. CPU - PEN
The functionality of the CPU is done
by one of the five pens.
 Also known as computing engine.
 Dual Core Processor is used.
 Works with Windows operating system.

The control unit contains circuitry that uses electrical
signals to direct the entire computer system to
carry out stored program instructions .
There are four steps that nearly all CPUs use in their
operation: fetch, decode, execute, and write back.

11. Uses the ‘Electronic image sensor’ technology.
Useful in video recording, video conferencing.
 Also called as web cam.
It is a 360 degrees visual communication device.
Record moving videos, sound as well as still
photograph.

Role of monitor is taken by LED Projector which
projects on the screen.
The size of the projector is of A4 size.
Resolution capacity is 1024 X 768.
Thus it gives more clarity and good picture.

Emits laser on desk where it look like

Most important part in portable type of computers.
Usually batteries are small in size and work for a long time.
It comes with a battery life of 6+ (i.e.6days).
For normal use it can be used for 2 weeks.
Use of lithium ion battery in the gadget
reduces energy density, durability
and cost factor.
