Example – 1: Distributed order taking system for Kaatizone
Problem
• Kaatizone has multiple outlets across Bangalore.
• They wanted to have a single number for home
delivery orders.
• Based on the location of the caller, they wanted
the order to be diverted to the nearest outlet.
Exotel’s solution
• There is a centralized number that customers of
Kaatizone can call to place an order for home
delivery.
• First time callers are asked to enter their pincode
and the call is diverted to the nearest outlet.
• Next time the same customer calls, the system
remembers their choice and diverts the call the
nearest outlet automatically.
• Detailed reports of orders on a per-outlet basis

Ltd. © 2015 Example – 1: Distributed order taking system for Kaatizone Problem • Kaatizone has multiple outlets across Bangalore. • They wanted to have a single number for home delivery orders. • Based on the location of the caller, they wanted the order to be diverted to the nearest outlet. Exotel’s solution • There is a centralized number that customers of Kaatizone can call to place an order for home delivery. • First time callers are asked to enter their pincode and the call is diverted to the nearest outlet. • Next time the same customer calls, the system remembers their choice and diverts the call the nearest outlet automatically. • Detailed reports of orders on a per-outlet basis
