• you can use both WAAD or Service Blue Print to understand users	

• if you have understood the users, the storyboards should based on
the reality or speculations generated by interviews.	

• If no previous understanding, the storyboards could be based on
imagination or previous experience regarding the users.

• the way they structure of event and the main characters is better	

• you could group different storyboard by functions or topics	

• try to explore the details of storyboards, so you can have consecutive
storyboards alone the line with different granularity.

  • 6. MACRO FORCES I • Social – market culture, life style, political atmosphere • Economic – purchasing power, consumer factor • Technical – new technology for the market, material, your specialty • Brainstorming top 10
  • 7. HOWTO PREDICTTHETREND Current Product Product opportunity gaps Anticipatory design • Using set theory ! ! ! ! • It is Hard to predict

  • 11. BASIC FUNCTION AND NEEDS • Using the results of Interview and IAN’s method (機會點) • Brainstorm the functions and needs of the primary idea of your company • Who the users might be are the keys to success
  • 12. TARGET USER • Think about the representative users of the target product • Using 5W1H to render the target users, the character, problem, and needs will be more clear • Include CRITICAL ISSUES and KEY IDEAS

HAVING UNDERSTANDING OF USERS • you can use both WAAD or Service Blue Print to understand users • if you have understood the users, the storyboards should based on the reality or speculations generated by interviews. • If no previous understanding, the storyboards could be based on imagination or previous experience regarding the users.
  • 25. SCENARIO BRAINSTORMING I • Using scenario brainstorming sketches (情境腦⼒力激盪圖) to develop details about the relationships between user and product and additional functions • Example: the shopping process and related critical issues & key issues of TAO(陶美惠)’s shopping journey

TIPS • the center is the representative persona. drawing the events for him/ her. • the way they structure of event and the main characters is better • you could group different storyboard by functions or topics • try to explore the details of storyboards, so you can have consecutive storyboards alone the line with different granularity.
  • 31. EVENT FLOW • Using 5W1H to thank about Flow Chart • Try to generate a serial process of an event • Group work/ one user per participants
  • 33. STORYBOARD I • Each slot of flow chart could be a storyboard • Please generate 10 storyboards where we can see event sketches, and related CI & KI • PLEASE USE PHOTOS OF REAL PEOPLE
  • 35. STORYBOARD II • All the storyboards of the targets users together could help us to think about the details and different dimensions of the idea • Different storyboards verify the necessary of the idea as well.

  • 43. CONCEPT SYNTHESIS (概念構想整合) • Using the top 10 themes to propose a solid design concept • Writing up the Scenarios for presentation • Present the Scenario

METHOD • Follow the timeline to sort out the scenarios • elicit all the element of the service system • people, objects, environments • Think about the functions of each objects in the service system using lego and signs to represent them • Think about the interactive behaviors amongst different objects and people in the service system.
