This survey was conducted to study about Mobile gaming market in Vietnam
Methodology: Online survey
Fieldwork time: 3 days (11/07/2016 to 13/07/2016)
Sample size: N = 900
Target respondent:
• Play game on smartphone
• Play game at least once per week
Geography: Nationwide

KEY FINDINGS
• 79% gamers play game at least 4 times/week
• 71% gamers use Android smartphone to play games
• 60% gamers installed 2-4 games on their smartphone
• Action-adventure, casino and strategy are mobile games played the most in Vietnam
• Male gamers like casino (12%) and action-adventure (10%) games while female gamers prefer casual (12%)
and action-adventure games (11%)
• WOM (36%) and App store (35%) and Facebook ads (32%) are main sources of game awareness
• Male gamers like games have attractive gameplay, online mode and many players while female gamers prefer games have
beautiful graphics, free price and easy to play.
• Require too much storage space (24%) and too many ads (19%) are the main reasons make gamers feel dissatisfied
• 83% gamers are playing game online
• 93% gamers used to click on ads in mobile game and 97% of those who clicked to ads have installed app/games
• 95% male gamers will spend money on game while only 83% female willing to spend on game
• 70% gamers spend under $2 - $5 a month for their favorite games
• 77% gamers have purchased an official copyrighted game
