Upon reading and reflecting the insight and knowledge gained from this case study my three values
for a program development and strategic analysis would be: a personal connection with the local
population, minimizing hierarchy, and enforcing accountability and transparency in the organization.
In terms of who I would work with, I favour the idea of working in a smaller organization. I would
accept funds from multilateral organizations, not the government, and I would be working at the
local level. Working in a smaller organization at the local level allows for greater accountability and

My Plant Engineering (PE) internship experience at United Parcel Service (UPS) allowed me to
utilize all that I have learned at Florida Polytechnic University and apply it to real–world work
experience. Thus expanding upon my previous knowledge while simultaneously allowing me to
grow in new ways that cannot be taught in the classroom. Interning at UPS has helped highlight my
fortes and flaws as not only an engineering student, but also as a young adult entering the
professional world. Through firsthand daily coaching and mentoring from senior engineers, I
discovered that communication is the key to being successful as an individual and as a team.

Getting the Job An INROADS alumni told me about an organization called INROADS and
encouraged me to go online and apply for their paid summer internship program. INROADS is a
non–profit company that focuses on "developing and placing talented underserved youth in business

It is no doubt that Engineering plays a vital role in our society. This is magnified in a time when the
world is faced with so many significant problems – climate change, population density – to name
just two. It is for this reason that I am so excited about the prospect of studying Engineering,
especially at the point of so many major advances in technology, in AI and nanomaterials for

My interest in building projects first started when I began studying Electronics in Year 9. I

Communication plays a critical role on making sure the correct people will receive the information,
what information will be communicated, how it will be communicated, how often, and who will be
responsible for delivering the message during a project. All communication plans will be according
to the needs of the project. Establishing a successful communication plan is one of the most
important factors contributing to a successful project (CA.gov, 2007).
When looking at the project communication plans from several organizations such as the
Department of Agriculture (USDA), the City of Scottsdale, and the Park Development and
Acquisition we can see some similarities and differences on how their plans are developed. Some
are more extensive and detailed, and some are concise and to the point. Many of these differences
are due to the need of the projects and who is involved.
Out of the three communication plans, the USDA is the shortest and least detailed. The USDA plan
does not include a table of content, making it more difficult for the reader to find needed
information quickly. Both of the other plans, City of Scottsdale and Seattle Parks and Recreation,
start their communication plan using a table of contents, making it easier for the reader. The plan
from the Seattle Parks and Recreation is the most extensive and detailed due to the complexity of

Probably the single best project that describes my internship is the data logging project. This was a
project that I was given almost a month after I started but also lasted until almost the end of my
internship. This was also one of the largest projects I worked on that I can discuss in enough detail

A Systems Consulting Group (SCG) Consultant, Ellen Moore, was sent to South Korea as a project
management representative for a Systems Implementation (SI) project involving forty Korean
consultants and a SI team. Joint Venture Inc. (JVI), formed between Korean Conglomerate Inc.
(KCI) AND Western Systems Inc. (WSI) was to implement the recommended systems into over one

During a SI team presentation, Kim described the details of a market research study to be conducted
which Moore knew nothing of. Once again, this clearly shows from JVI's poor and incorrect
information of Kim's position, it allowed him to carry out inappropriate actions which he believed
was acceptable whilst treating Moore as any other SI team members, rather than a co–project

high authority from the hierarchical structure. When trying to manage the expectations of clients,
from the perspective of a North American consultant, this involves frequent communication and
interviews with the client to gain a thorough understanding of the client's system. However, due to
Korea's hierarchical structure, the Korean consultants refused to do this. It was common for the
Korean consultants to accept any form of work from the client, even if it was beyond the scope of

different Universities feasibility studies about The Mastaba.
The artists then hired the German engineering firm, to analyze these reports. They found a concept
that was the most technically sound and innovative. The entire substructure as well as the layer of
barrels will be assembled flat on the ground. Ten elevation towers will make it possible to raise the
entire structure on rails to its final position. Another project that christo is still working on is the
Running Fence. The Fence is 18 feet in height 24.5 miles long it extends east to west near freeway
101, north of San Francisco on the private properties of 59 ranches following the rolling hills and

This week had a big focus on our prototype project because it is coming down to the final weeks of
this projects before we go to Telus Spark for the celebration of learning night. So in order to prepare

Taking social test's have always been a struggle for me, just because they are so long and it is a lot
of reading, trying to pull out different pieces of information and figuring out what exactly they are
asking. They are also very sneaky and make some of the answers quite similar. Even though I have
taken social test's like this for all of my middle school career they never get any easier! When it
came to math, I generally just did not exile in the measurement unit very well, even though I studied
and did practice questions. Hopefully the next unit will go a little better, but some of my friends that
