I think about educational institutions as situational systems, with attention to contexts, inputs, and outputs, to improve their effectiveness and efficiency. I help teachers and schools create engaging educational environments that incorporate digital technologies and reflect the principles of inquiry-based learning. I also investigate and write about the history and philosophy of education, with a special interest and expertise in the philosophy of John Dewey.
