3. Social Media Strategy It's just another form of marketing: one where consumers can talk back. Like billboards, you put your brand everywhere your target audience lives: like facebook, twitter or on blogs. Communicate in the way your audience communicates: and expect them to talk back.
6. Why? Why are you using Social Media? (Cultural, brand awareness, fundraising, traffic?)
7. Who? Who are you targeting? (Age, gender, hobbies?)
8. What? What kind of content are you sending out and why? What do you want your audience to think, feel or do when they interact with your brand?
9. People Talk People talk. Everything you put out in Social is a conversation. Who in your organisation will answer questions? (Remember: people treat social as the receptionist: How do I join? Where do I find this info? How do I do this? Where is your annual report? Someone needs to know how to find these answers quickly.)
