caste, class, economic disparities, rural- urban
divides and a multitude of beliefs -

others to commit great acts for mankind.

CONCEPT & PURPOSE
3. Place would be useful to distress people facing stress related to religions and even
social life. Put aside at least some of the burden of defenses against the world and
feel inwardly free.
Function and feeling
Indeed not only must religious architecture evoke an otherworldly feeling - must also
function as community center, study area and even business space. Religious buildings
always have to bridge the gap of being literally a concrete implementation of a highly
abstract idea.
"The challenge we face as designers isn't just about architecture, it's about religion
as whole- what role does it play in society ?" said jogue
Civilization is about relationships: person to person, people to nature, present to past
and future.

7. To tame the monumentality and separate the “unique” view it
imposes, I sought to fragment the landscape by distributing the
volume of the building among several “blocks” oriented to
specific points of view. The approach thus does not depend on a
programmatic constraint, but rather on enhancing the
perceptual experience within the habitat.
“Preparatory path” helps in making up the mind and also
creates volume to include confrontation settings.

landscape (seeming as huge boulders).

11. CONFRONTATION - Confrontation means people facing to each other which helps in eye contacts which further leads
to many favorable aspects. Ex. Kids invite each other to play. Confrontation thus is a major aspect of Ethical Complex.
12. NODE 1 – Open and closed space plays a distinct role in Indian identity. It helps climatically and also in defining mass
volumes for multiple purpose and interaction.
14. RESOURCE BLOCK – Provides lecture space for spreading messages and teaching religions. Enlightenment chabutra
provides space for invited people from different religions, theologists and speakers for discussions over religious injustice or
helping similar organizations. Public library gives access to people for reading books related to sociology, ecology, religion
etc. Publishing section helps in printing and spreading messages through fliers or booklets, providing publishing platform for
writers writing for the purpose.

17. NODE 2:
Framing lake, space for selfies or photographs with secular icon, also acts as miniature of sacred water
element used in every religious built form.
18. Celebration Space: Culture holds society together. Without shared values, community
disintegrates.Celebrating all the festivals invites more people, more smiles and economy.
19. SHUNYA MUSEUM – Museum is divided into two parts 1. Anthropology Museum 2. Metanoia Museum. Anthropology
Museum helps in vaccinating disease of fundamentalism by teaching when, why and how gods and religions were created
through scientifical aspects. Metanoia Museum tells about the miseries, problems and also teach some principles related
to “way of living life” and different perceptions of different religions.

24. Sound of Silence
Its part of a growing trend in
religious architecture to shy away
from ostentatious iconography,
and instead allow the visitor to
immerse themselves in "light-
filled serenity". This concise style
leaves visitors feel free to fill it
with their own thoughts, wishes
and prayers." said Feireiss. The
interplay of light, emptiness and
stillness seems to express a sacred
quality in these spaces.
25. Accomodation Block - Provides space for guests to stay, also has farmer’s house with cattle shed for serving
humanity by providing jobs and food to underprivilaged.
