Impact Story Guidelines
1. VISTAs, organizations, community volunteers, special guests involved
2. Population served (who were the beneficiaries?)
3. Event name, location, intended purpose
4. Impact of event (including exceptional outcomes; cash/in-kind resources
obtained)
Action Photo Guidelines
• Wearing VISTA gear (with the logo showing)
• “Action shot”: participating in a project, ideally with community and
team members also in the picture
• Not posed (but, if need be, posed)
• With each picture, include a caption of what’s going on
Expectations, Reporting & Recording
• We need one impact story and one action photo from each
TASK VISTA member each month!
• Quarterly reports
• Keep track of your activities! Template will be emailed to you soon.
• Time sheets
• Template; 10 sick days and 10 vacation days
AmeriCorps Alums, [Local Chapter]
• Continue the mission of AmeriCorps! Network, volunteer, and
socialize with other AmeriCorps alumni in [your state]!
