3. 20/20 KITCHEN
PROJECT
Objective:
Continue to familiarize with tools and skills commonly utilized
when designing with the 20/20 software program. Design a complete
kitchen with base cabinetry, including either an island or a
peninsula.
Deliverables:
A perspective view of the kitchen choosing a view that best
displays the kitchen and the design.
4. SKETCHUP
CABIN PROJECT
Objective:
Further familiarization with tools and capabilities of SketchUp.
Introduction to use of SketchUp in conjunction with imported AutoCAD
files.
Deliverables:
Completely furnished cabin created using components/ models
found online. Finishes provided for all surfaces, both interior and exterior.
Different appropriate flooring surfaces finishes for the kitchen and bath
area. Use of layers is critical.
6. RESTAURANT
PROJECT (SPURS)
Objective:
To work with a team to re-design the Lakeland College
Students’ Center on campus
Deliverables:
Concept statement, complete set of working drawings, brand
development, SketchUp model, rendered perspective(s), material
board, specifications, oral presentation.
13. NKBA BATH
Objective:
To deign a bathroom following the guidelines for the 2015/2016
NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) Student Design
Competition.
Deliverables:
Concept statement, complete set of working drawings,
specifications, material board, rendered perspective.
16. AIRPORT
KIOSK
Objective:
A conceptual design of a kiosk for an international airport under 200
sq. ft.
Deliverables:
Concept development & research, material board, SketchUp model,
packaging of product & brand signage, oral presentation.
18. Objective:
Work as a team to design an environmentally sustainable house
under 1,600 sq. ft.
Deliverables:
Concept statement, site plan (demonstrating relationship to site &
day-lighting), material board, rendered floor plan, rendered
landscape plan, a scaled model (demonstrating site location),
rendered perspective, poster outlining sustainable strategies
implemented in the deign, specifications.
