Senior Design Project
Designed and constructed a printed circuit board for WMU’s sunseeker solar car with 3 maximum power point
trackers to control the state of charge via a microcontroller circuit
Features isolated and non-isolated DC power supplies
Developed CAN control circuits as well as a RS-232 communication circuit
Formulated an ADC circuit that has 8 inputs including two shunt measurements, 3 thermistors temperature
readings, two voltage references, and power supply monitoring
Other Design Projects
Analog Line Following Robot – Succeeded in creating a small robotic car that would follow a black lined track based on
reflection of light using a phototransistor
DC Motor Position Control – Engineered a PID position control system using servomotors with proof of concept via
MATLAB’s root locus, step response, and transient response analysis.
Filter Control -- Built an audio filtering system using low pass, band-pass, and high pass filter circuitry for synchronizing
capabilities of bass, mid, and treble ranges via LEDs
