● SP1: Efficient real property management and re-use of real
property data.
● SP2: Efficient re-use of addresses, administrative units and
place names.
● SP3: Common basic data for water management and
climate change adaptation
● SP4: Open and efficient access to geographic data.
● SP5: Efficient basic registration of people and fewer
shadow registers.
● SP6: Efficient re-use and sharing of basic data on
businesses.

12. THE COMMON BASIC DATA TERMS OF USE
● The Licensor grants you a worldwide, free, non-exclusive and otherwise
unrestricted licence to use the Data, which you are free to e.g.
o copy, distribute and publish;
o adapt and combine with other material;
o exploit commercially and non-commercially.
● The Data may not be used in a way which suggests that the Licensor
endorses, supports, recommends or markets the user of the Data, or the
services or products of the user of the Data.
● You must ensure the use of the Data is in accordance with Danish law.

● The Data is provided 'as is' and the Licensor shall not be liable for content,
origin, errors or omissions in the Data and shall not be liable for any loss or
damage caused by its use.
● The Licensor provides no guarantee for the continued availability of the Data,
and may at all times change the right of use of the Data and the conditions for
its use.

14. THE DATA DISTRIBUTOR
● All common public-sector basic data will be distributed via the
Data Distributor
● The Data Distributor can also distribute other public-sector data in
the future.
● Updating basic data will still be carried out via the basic-data
administrator's existing interfaces
● The basic-data administrator will provide an up-to-date copy of
basic data at a frequency that meets the needs of users
● The basic-data administrator will own the data and will be
responsible for developing data and interface descriptions for
display with the Data Distributor Any cross-cutting data
descriptions will be prepared jointly by several basic-data
administrators

15. THE DATA DISTRIBUTOR
● Will distribute data to both the public and the private sectors
● Will provide both online search and file distribution services
● Will provide support for standardized technical interfaces and only
a single basic-data access agreement needs to be entered into
● Will store and distribute data pursuant to Danish and European
legislation

Governance
• Balancing the need for a common overview and coordination
with the autonomy of the authorities involved
• Making the division of responsibility between the basic data
board, the basic data secretariat and the subprogram
steering groups clear and functional
• Ensuring that the governance structure works smoothly in
order to perform due diligence
