themselves,challengingthemselvestodobetter,workingtobe more consistent,learningsomething
new.Topleadersare alwaysexpandingtheirminds,listeningforideasandconceptstheycanapplyto
theirbusiness.Andthenthey’re willingtobe uncomfortableinpracticingthose conceptsbefore they
masterthem.
If you findyourself comfortable,you’re notgrowing.Itmeansyou’vestoppedpushing,learning,and
stretching.If you’re comfortable,youshouldbe nervous,becauseinthisbusinessyou’re eithergrowing
or you’re dying.Evenworse thanbeingcomfortableisbeingbored.Thatmeansyou’re actuallygoingin
reverse.Soembrace beinguncomfortable.That’swhatsuccessful people do.

1. Vision
Successful networkmarketershave ahabitof vision,of seeingthingsbeforetheyoccur.Andtheirvision
directstheirbehavior.Toomanypeople imagine obstaclesinsteadof imagininganincrediblefuture.
Theyimagine rejection,sotheydon’tgetstarted.Mostof whatwe worry aboutneverhappens,butwe
imagine itandcreate the self-fulfillingprophecyinourorganizations.One of the mostpowerful forces
on earthis yourimagination.Make sure youimagine success.Whenyourvisiongetsstrongenoughand
focusedenough,itwill pullyoutowardsuccess.
2. Belief
The bestadvice these superstarssaythey’dgive tonew networkmarketingprofessionalsisthis:Believe
bigger,faster.Once youbelieve,goodthingsstartto happen.Youhave to have faiththatgood things
will happenforyou.Whenyourfaithgetsstrong,itwill transitionintohope,andthenintobelief.Top
earnersinnetworkmarketingbelieve biggerthananybodyelse,andtheirbeliefisunshakable.Believein
whatnetworkmarketingcando foryou. Believeinthe powerof duplication.Andbelieve inthe
profession.
3. Simplicity
In a worldthat’sdistractedbya millionthings—social media,friends,email,textmessages— simplicityis
an art form. Trainersseemtocome up withnew systemseveryday.Whenitcomestonetwork
marketing,simplicityiscrucial.If yougetdistractedbydifferentmethods,youendupwithcomplicated
systems.Andif youcomplicate things,businessgrowthwillstop,because aconfusedmindfreezes.
Simplicityisthe oxygenof duplicationinnetworkmarketing.
4. Positivity
Superstarsfocusonpositivity.Theydon’tunderstandnegativityasaway of life,buttheyunderstandit’s
verydangerous.Superstarsedifytheircompany,upline,product,andthe peoplewhoare doingwhat’s
right.Theyspendtheirtime understandingthatpositivityislike the fertilizerinthe groundtohelpseeds
grow.If youallownegativitytospendtoomuchtime inyourpresence,itwill infectyourorganization,

5. Hard Work
Most people consider“work”a four-letterword.People live theirwhole livespiningforthe daytheycan
retire andstop goingto work.Butnetworkmarketingsuperstarsdon’tviewworkasa challenge;they
viewworkas an opportunity tofulfill theirpurpose,tocontribute tothe world,togrow as a person,to
helpotherpeople.Theyworkhard,butthey’re notunhappy;they’rethe happiestpeople Iknow.
They’re buildingtheirpassion.Thisseparatesthe leadersfromthe average.
6. Focus
Superstarsare not easilydistracted.Theyhave avisionandare single-mindedinbuildingtheirbusiness.
Theirvisioncausesthemtofocustotallyontheirobjective,goal,mission—onbuildingtheirempire.
Because theyhave belief,they’re focused. Theirfocushelpsthemkeepitsimple andcreatesconsistency
and persistence.Focusedleaderssimple can’tbe distracted.
7. They’re Unreasonable
No one can convince asuperstarthat networkmarketingisn’tthe absolute bestoptionfora personwho
isentrepreneurial.Noone canconvince themthattheirsystem, theirsimplefocus,shouldbe
complicated.Whenitcomestobeingpositive,workinghard,andtheirbelief system,they’re
unreasonable—theyare unshakable.A reasonable personconformstothe worldaroundthem.They
wantto get along,sotheyfollowalong.The unreasonable personasksthe worldtoconformto their
pointof view.Andprogressdependsonthe unreasonablepeople.
8. Promotion
Top earnersare promoters;theyunderstandthe speedof the leaderisthe speedof the pack.They
promote theircompanyconventionandbringguests.Theypromote newproducts,andasimple daily
methodof operation.Theypromote theirvision,beliefsystem,andthe value of hardwork.Theyleadby
example.They’re notwaitingforthe companytomake an announcement,orfortheirupline leadership
to inspire theirteam.Superstarstake the lead,andpromote withwhite-hotbelief.
9. Strategy
Leadershave a strategybehindeverythingtheydo.They’re strategicabout how theytravel,whatthey
talkabout,how theytrain,andhow theypromote.Theyunderstandthathow theyshow upisgoingto
eitherplantseedsof doubtorinspire confidence inpeople’sminds.Attheirconvention,they’re onpoint
and strategicaboutwhatthey’re goingtobe doing,whattheywill communicate,andintheir
recognition.
10. Immersion
At some point,the topearnerscreateda bubble aroundtheirlifeanddecidedtolive andbreathe the
developmentof theirvisionandthemselves—tocreate anenvironmentthatpushedthemtotheirgoals.
