A smart watch is a computerized wristwatch with
functionality that is enhanced beyond timekeeping.
While early models can perform basic tasks, such as
calculations, translations, and game-playing.
Modern smart watches are effectively wearable computers.

number of models run a mobile operating system.

The Sony Smart Watch, also called MN2SW, is a wearable device that
connects to an Android smart phone .
It is compatible with most Android phones. The watch uses a flexible
silicone wristband with multiple colors available.

7. Sony Smart watch 2
The Sony Smart Watch 2, also known as
SW2, is a wearable device launched in late
September 2013. The SW2 supports working
together with any Android 4.0 (and higher)
smart phone.
It is 1.65 inches tall by 1.61 inches wide and
0.35 inch thick and weighs 0.8 ounces and
sports a transflective LCD screen with a
220x176 resolution.
The SW2 connects to the smart phone using
Bluetooth, and supports NFC for easy
pairing. It is rated IP57 so it can be

minutes and is dust resistant.

not just resistant), improved styling,
transition to Android Wear.

and marketed by Samsung Electronics.
It was announced on 28 August 2014 as the
successor to the Samsung Gear 2and was
released on November 7, 2014.
the Gear S includes 512 MB RAM and 4 GB
internal storage as well as a 300 mAh Li-ion
battery.
Sensors within the Gear S include an
Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Compass, Heart
Rate monitor, Ambient Light sensor, UV
sensor and Barometer.
3G module the watch is able to connect
directly to the internet, make phone calls and
send SMS's without needing a phone. It was
the first wearable device to include Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth and 3G connectivity.
