In November 2022, Andrea Olsen introduced The Youth Longevity Association at The Longevity Summit in Oxford, Oriel College.

Learners, always seeking experience and opportunities to grow
We assist at conferences, conduct interviews, work at laboratories and publish literature
The Youth Longevity Association fosters young, driven and talented high school students into an international community of longevity researchers. We train our members through large-scale projects and career programs, preparing them for professional recruitment. We welcome exceptional students to increase our world’s longevity, step by step.
We are designing a course for high schoolers, a live event, which is an initiation to become a TYLA member. This course is in the process of creation and will be like the key to stepping into a longevity career. There you will learn about …..
Towards the end, every member would have developed his or her own project, like an application, an article, a research project or even a drug-discovery under the guidance of a longevity expert during the course. They will have one on one exposure with researchers and business men, learn how to pitch, promote their work, how to build a character and online presence, the point of which is to accelerate them into the world of longevity.
Learning from experts
Speaking and networking
Getting useful connections
Interning and working at laboratories
Publishing literature
Our members have gotten positions at the Buck Institute of Research on Aging, collaborations from Lifespan.io, offers from laboratories in Cologne, Germany; been invited to present at international research cofnerences, like ARDD
An example of what you can do - I did a drug discovery at Insilico Medicine
Presented it at ARDD2021 and 2022.
We found new potential therapeutic targets, used multi-omics technology to discover this. Learnt to use python with my mentors, who are all know official TYLA mentors and help out our association in publishing their work in scientific research journals.
If you are a high schooler yourself, a longevity expert or even just interested in the whole area of aging research, we open our arms wide to you and invite you to support our initiative today.
If you want your children to kick start their career already now, with a head start by learning from the world’s greatest business, science and technology-experts, we have exactly what you are looking for.
To find out more about our association, visit TYLA.io right now, or scan the QR code on the screen for faster access.
One of the hallmarks of being a youth longevity member, is that you get free access to the largest pharma-based longevity conference in the world. We will be there in September 2023, and hope to see you there!
Thank you.
